"today was a good day" ice cube ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

my wife and i are the same way. when we shut the front gate, we shut out the world. our house is our escape, our sanctuary. if you want to come over to sit by the pool...you know where the towels are, and the beer in the fridge...you dont need to ask me.....and you know where the spare bedroom is...so again, you dont need to ask. if i am around, not busy, and interested in having a conversation, you better be ready to walk and talk...cause i am always moving. if you cant handle this...you will not like me, and that is ok. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

You should have to then reimburse the government (or should I say, your fellow taxpayers) out of the savings you get on your water bill. i was thinking more about this. so when i get a rebate check when i install a solar system, (same idea, resource savings) do you think i should continue to pay my "share."?! these programs would not be in existence if the goal was to cost taxpayers more money. granted that the execution of such programs does not always meet such goals. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

yes i know, but the 165 helps. the voucher can be used at plumbing contractor supply house, so prices will be a bit better the retail. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

You should have to then reimburse the government (or should I say, your fellow taxpayers) out of the savings you get on your water bill. i believe i have already paid my share. when i build a house, roughly 12% of the overall cost is paid in permits, up front. last one i did i paid 18 grand. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

Yep. Here in SoCal, if you have an older home, you can apply for a voucher for new water closets, toilets....aka...crappers. Its in the interest of saving water. Just got 2 in the mail...$165 each...not bad. The vouchers can be used for the actual toilet and essentials, like wax ring, plumbing fittings, and seat.

well, since she lives in Alaska, maybe the names are short for "track em down" and then "pull the trigger" justice, northern style. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? -
now i could see throwing down some bullshit to maybe get laid, but this is ridiculous. then again, maybe he is gay....not that there is anything wrong with that (sienfeld) ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

i agree with this. I am a home builder, my wife is a broker/realtor. Having built homes, and invested in rentals....now is the time to buy. It was costing me about 78 per sq foot to build, not including land. i did all my trim, paint and tile though. We just picked up another one for 90 sq/ft, but it has 2/3 acre, and an in ground pool. Now is not the time to build, unless you want a very specific and personal design. Consider when you build, that the more "custom" you get, the less potential buyers you may have. If you going to go super custom, you actually make more on the bigger projects, but the risk is greater. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

thats funny.... dropzones should have PFOOA data. (People Falling Out Of Aircraft)

yeah, i have dealt with that everywhere. we now live in the high desert, east of LA, CA., where it seems to be mandatory to have 3 to 4 dogs, and leave them in a backyard of dirt to back all night. we use a sound machine to block it out. we have two boxers, they sleep inside with us, never a peep...well, unless the neighbors cat is dumb enough to come around.

Using a motorcycle helmet for skydiving?
squirrel replied to FallloutboyDAoC's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
if you are looking to save money, you are in the wrong sport. anyway, i dont wear a helmet at all, i enjoy the air. but then again, i only jump with my wife, no one else, and i fly a very big chute for my weight. barefoot too when weather permits. but i still get some looks with no helmet in the plane. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? -
we use the minimal plan....dvd's in the mail...love it. can get some great old movies not available in the rental stores. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

We traveled for 2 years on tour with our dogs...some DZs allowed them...some didn't. If it came down to choosing between 2 DZs, we went to the dog friendly one. Even though we had a sleeper semi with AC, we still like to be able to give them time out of the rig. Here is Daisy (RIP) at Skydive Monroe, (also RIP), she was well trained and smart, and would "ask" to come into the hanger. I miss her. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
