My wife and I are investors, and have never used an ARM. I heard a good joke the other day. "Why do they call the adjustable rate mortages ARMs? Because your "arms" go up when you are getting robbed! My wife is a broker, and over 50% of all homes sold in this area are bank owned. I also run a swimming pool service company, many many new accounts from bank owned property. It was crazy 3 years ago, selling $500,000 homes to people making 35,000 a year...damn, do the math, cant work for too long. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

For some reason Magnum, PI. poped into my head.

Anyone else (intentionally) NOT watching football today?

yep...having fun with my dogs and cleaning the house. -
I predict I will be "doing" something...and not "watching" someone else doing something. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

every job has bullshit, its just a matter of what flavor of shit you want to eat. every place you go will have a co-worker, a supervisor, or both who will make your life more difficult than it has to be. not mine...self employed, no co-workers, no employees, no supervisor, well maybe my clients, but, if they give me a hard time...I end the account. I...am a poolman, and life is goooood. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

He gets to travel the country, hang out with airshow peeps and drink truck loads of free beer...he should be paying THEM to go to work! I used to work mobile marketing...drove and managed big rig promotions with Nascar, concerts, cool stuff. Made a ton of money, so I put up with alot of bullshit...but it came to a point where I walked away(48 states, and a ton of dropzones later) to get my self respect, and sanity, and liver...well maybe not my liver, back...never been happier.

Can I ask if you love your job or are paid exceptionally well to put up with this bullshit? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

where we fly our trike, there are a groups of R/C flyers....everytime we pass over them, my wife comments..."how lame, why stand on the ground when you can really fly?!" there are some in this group that have actually spent more on the R/C planes that I have on my trike! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

if an actor is truely politically concerned...quit making movies/TV and run for office and make a difference...some have...results vary. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

from the movie it seemed he was searching for ultimate freedom...but being creatures requiring energy input to survive...I agree that his survival education was lacking. My wife and I discussed how just a short time ago...everyone lived like this...hunting, making shelter, pure survival. But was it "fun?" was there enough time in the day to relax...after doing all the required tasks to mearly survive. I have been on long backpack trips, weeks out in the mountains, lite on food supplies so had to fish for core meals....and after while, you get your routine down, and I found some time to simply chill out ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

you should also try "Into thin Air" by the same author. Its about the Mt. Everest disaster awhile back. My sister was actually friends with one of the guides. The author was on the expidition, so the detail is emmense...without giving away the story, there are good lessons learned from this book. The audio version is excellent as well...if you have a long drive ahead...like to a boogie.

actually, you really have to do a "exam" so to speak to feel the implant. its the best "job" i have ever seen, well, felt. overall, my opinion is that people can do wan they want with their bodies...implants, piercings, tattoos, make up and jewelery...its all their choice. too bad that our society fails in giving people enough confidence in making these choices for themselves, and not to try to impress society itself. i don't fully care what people think of me, yes, we all care a little(well except maybe some like the guy in "Into thin Air")...but being self employed, I dont have to worry about it as much as some other, "corporate" or mainstream jobs. Its who you choose to be your friends, and if they try to tell you how to look beyond basic hygiene, its time to kick them to the curb and believe in yourself.

when i first met her, i could not tell, well, maybe until i got to a solid second or third base. she did not go to big, that is the key. they were done by Dr. Anthony Griffen, (before he went on TV)who is now on that makeover show. Implants are under the muscle, so the breast are shaped as original, just a bit larger. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

They look maaaaaaavlus!

small, big(but good shape) is all fine with me. my wife had them when we met...her sister's boyfriend too insisted that her sister get them...but he was trying to make my wifes sister look like pamela anderson...died hair, boobs, high heals all the time...that relationship didnt last long. so, these have been done...she was an A cup, but now is a C...i think they are great! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

I bought mine after I sold my 67 GT 500 shelby (yes, it was real, #0194 of 2049, not like the movie, and yes, i miss it...but, it paid off my debts and got me into real estate)...had to have some straight line power! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

your right...no real changes in over 20 years. Well, the talk on the street is that there will be no more vmax production after 2007...but, I have a friend that works at yamaha....and I have seen a picture, that I can not show...of a possible new Vmax...and it looks awsome...rumor is that it is around 200hp. try vmaxoutlaw.com to start. then, http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Speedway/2476/handling.htm#weave lots of info....just use google or yahoo.

i was able to lock in investment rental properties(non primary residence) at 6.25 in 2004... you just gotta run the numbers...see if the cost of refi is low enough to save money in the long run. and, set up a bimonthly mortage that makes two payments a month...its within a few dollars of makeing one...but cuts like a year off the end of your mortage. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
