and the aircraft may have more "lift" ? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

You have a hard pull/miss your pud on the first attempt now pulling at 2K with a canopy that is going to snivel 800 to 1000 feet. and I start my opening sequence at 3500. 5 seconds or so of extra freefall time is not worth reducing the window of opportunity if a problem arises. This is just our limits, we don't expect others to follow our logic. My wife has had 2 total malfunctions, and was in the saddle under reserve by 1500'...plenty of time to set up to land in a safe area....thats why we dont push it lower. If we want more freefall time, we jump again.

i jump the same main and size. I love the long openings...soooo soft. I am curious on why you would want to shorten your openings? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

I dream, according to my wife, but, I usually dont remember. 2 to 3 times a week in the middle of the night, my hands come up, like they would be on the controls of my ultralight, and I am flying, and talking on the radio, apparently, cause, I dont remember anything in the morning.

what the hell is so hard about giving me a kids menu

my wife and i are small portion eaters...we often split a meal. but this does piss off the server, because they think the tip is going to be calculated on the bill amount. being former servers, we tip on service, not amount of the bill. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? -

Does being a pilot give you any kind of edge?
squirrel replied to A1CSpooky's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
i too learned to fly after skydiving...the go arounds were a sweet option to have, personally, never had any problem deciding to go around. what my flght instructor liked that i brought from skydiving was the ability to make decision and act on them. i feel this goes both ways, use your pilot observation, decision, and action skills to aid you in skydiving. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? -

no it didnt, that was my point. strange though how loose the realtionship between the broker and owner is, or is reported to be. when i do real estate/spec deals, i demand more straight up agreements. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

to each thier own...any idiot with good credit can buy a car capable of 130mph or faster, a 16 year old can buy a hayabusa, and someone younger can ride a YZ250 and try a double back, ...the fact that some DZs will stop you from killing yourself and/or someone else, bringing shame to skydiving, and sadness to your mother, is your only chance. get real, get educated, or get dead. got it? please identify where you will be jumping, for that is where i nor my wife will not be jumping. good day sir. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? -
Remember that the Dive tables are based on theory, that is, they are not exact. So, how one dive effects two different people is in reality, unkown. Play it safe, Jump, then dive, and, enjoy.

Didnt even know this show was still on TV. I think you need to skydive more, watch TV less. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
