    I used to own a 1967 Shelby GT 500 #0194. Yes, it was the real thing...spent ten years restoring it, making slight modifications to improve handleing, and power. 365hp, 425lbs of trq. 4 on the floor, and twin quads under the hood sitting ontop a medium rise manifold, on a 428 LeMahns block. But in the end, it was just a car. (oh, but such a beautiful car). Anyway, I have surpased the need for speed, and to have other people look at me. However, if you want to go fast, here is my sugestion: http://www.factoryfive.com/rdsterhome.html I have been to the factory five shop....this is not a kit, this is a race winning car. They have improved on the original Cobra design. Of course if you are buying a car for an investment, go with the real thing. I drive an old jeep now, that barely passes 60mph...like I said...I dont have the need for speed anymore...except in the sky.     i hear what you are saying...but, that type of "high" for me lasted until jump 150 or so. i still jump with my wife, but not as much. we jump to expand our lives, as in take a breather from stress...not to loose ourselves in the sport, like some have. we both find that skydiving, scuba, and flying...make doing the boring tasks of daily work...well, worth while. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    I was about 20 years old, and the proud owner of a like-new one-year-old Sportster when I pulled up along side a Guzzi at a stoplight. After a few back-and-forth glances and nods, the light turned green the the the noise began...from only my bike. The Guzzi was busy opening up the distance ahead of my bike, all the while making no more sound than your average family car. A humbling experience. i still have my stock pipes on my bike...dont really like the ear shattering noise that straight pipes make....except...when i am driving my car, and a bike is splitting lanes...i can hear them coming, and give a little room. i remember seeing a sticker one time...."Loud pipes save lives." guess they are good for something. i prefer the "sleeper" mode....nice and quite, but able to haul butt! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    well, it was not quite 2000 miles, more like 1400...from san diego to Kansas...but, i liked it just fine. i do have pegs up front though for cuising. some people say the seat is not comfortable...i actually like it. but i have heard complaints about every bike seat. yeah, we are of subject, but hey, this is the bonfire. that fact that her friends wont let her ride if she does not buy a harley is simply, ...amazing. thats like some click in grade school. i rode with a group of harleys awile back with 2 other friends, my vmax, a sweet old GS1000, and a nice new suszuki something...they poked fun at us, and we at them...but we were still "WELCOME" to ride with them! i have even brought out my old XT550 and rode with them. I think she should really evaulate her friends before she drops some serious cash....just to...belong. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    and your telling me that the harley in the video that did the wheelie is a great turning bike? dont think so...next please. oh, and i bought the vmax for 4 grand, cash...and can sell it for more today, and every time i ride with my harley buddies...i ask them to put up or shut up...pink slips...not one taker, ever. if you want to buy something that appreciates...buy real estate. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    that would mean a 100% fatality rate....hmm, i dont think so. this is really an inaccutate statement. I have known skydivers who have died in a varitey of other ways...cars, murdered, cancer, old age...etc. It is a dangerous sport, but lately I have heard about more people getting hurt or dying on motorcycles. But then again, I ride too. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    wonder if any of them work for Countrywide? If they do, please take them outside and shoot them...for helping create the sub prime meltdown, and scaring buyers away from the market. btw, anyone wanna buy a house, 3 weeks from completion, just over an hour from 3 great so-cal DZs? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    i hope all goes well with the treatment. my wife had this condition after a back surgery, and did not eat orallly for 3 months, lived off an IV, and had saline flushes of her stomach, to keep its size, 4 times a day. she now is orgasmic over food. regarding "people food" for pets. depends on what kind of "people" food, and how you prepare it. I have been home cooking for our 3 dogs for 3 years, (boxers and border collie) and they have improved in health since the switch. but, we use brown rice, (lower in sugars), pressure cooked blended chicken, cooked chicken livers, egg yoks only, and vitamin additives. everything is preparred fresh daily. the book we reference is "Barker's Grub, Easy, wholsome home cooking for your Dog" by Rudy Edalati. I just cant feed my dogs "dog" food, after actually reading and understanding what is in pet food. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    oh, yeah, a person who likes to spend that much time f---ing around on a phone...oh, that realy turns me on (i dont think so). for work, i have to take about 30 calls a day... and that is already too much, but at least its for a REASON! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    lets see...i have been,a paper boy, a waiter, a tropical fish salesman, a mechanic, an asbestos abatement technician (for 3 days, that was rediculas) a electrical construction project manager, a aireal editor for navigational GPS databases, a film set construciton office manager, a touring hot air balloon crew chief, a tour manager for promational campaigns, a truck driver, a general contractor, painter, tiler, and now i am starting a swiming pool service company. go with it, go with what makes you money, happy, and keeps you near a decent dropzone! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    its a great opening. i have a spectre, a parachute noted for its "long" good openings....this opening doesn't look any different than the ones i have every time. at first with my sprectre it, did seem like it sniveled too long, but then once you do a quick glance up, you can see by the shape of the "snivel" that it will be a good deployment. just ask my wfe it you would want a "quick" opening. the answer would be NO! she had a total malfunction, could not deply the pilot chute from the BOC...had to go straight to reserve at terminal velocity. sufered whiplash and could not lift her head up with her neck muscles for a week or so. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

    bummer, but, every bit helps. i used to get un-employment, between contracts when I live on my boat in San Diego...I could actually put money in the bank and not work...just lived on burritos and cheep beer! ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
