  1. I think you are just paranoid.
  2. Because I don't think he is Cooper I am now a fake account and a shill? Wow.
  3. Well... it is not the main reason. Ryan already explained in detail why Hahneman wasn't Cooper.
  4. From Google AI: "Brand loyalty among smokers is considered extremely high, with studies consistently showing that smokers tend to be very faithful to their preferred cigarette brand, often sticking to it for long periods and rarely switching to another, making it one of the most loyal consumer groups across all product categories." I totally agree with this. I have been a smoker for more than 30 years and have been smoking the same brand for at least 25 years now. The only time I have ever smoked another brand was when somebody offered me one of their cigarettes. Young people might experiment with different tobacco flavors but older men will most likely stick to the brand they know and like, especially in stressful situations.
  5. I don't see it either. His nose is way too big, he is too "fat" and doesn't have a protruding lower lip. Doesn't look like the sketches imo.
  6. Yeah, you nailed it: this is the D.B.Cooper case and the Vortex in a nuttshell. Then there is also the TB money find which doesn't answer any questions but only makes things more bizarre and complicated. This case, and the lack of evidence to work with, is so frustrating but at the same time it is the reason why so many people are intrigued and obsessed with it. It is a double-edged sword.
  7. What is the point of having a forum and discussions if only three people dictate who is right or wrong and bully the ones they disagree with? DZ becomes a circle jerk that is hostile towards outsiders, newcomers and people who have different opinions. That is not good for the case. For the record: I don't care about all the ridiculous suspects like Barb Dayton, Vince Peterson et al either. I think its a waste of time and energy. If we ever find Coopers identity it will be a name we've never heard before.
  8. When is this unknown image of Cooper that you have going to be made public?
  9. Ah okay, I didn't know that many Latin people don't have Latin names. When i think of "Latin appearance" I think of South-American countries with common surnames like Lopéz or Rodriguez for example.
  10. Dan Cooper is an English name right? If he was Latin wouldn't he have used a Latin sounding name?
  11. But... he used the American sounding name 'Dan Cooper' when he bought the ticket. If he was clearly Latin wouldn't he have used a Latin/South-American name instead to avoid suspicion?
  12. Yes, this is definitely overlooked and often ignored. I remember reading the eyewitness accounts for the first time and the fact that Cooper had an olive/latin appearance was something I hadn't heard before. Just like the fact that the suit jacket he wore had a brownish, almost reddish color and not black like how he is often portrayed in documentaries.
  13. It's not the elephant in the room. I think there is a good chance that if Coopers identity is ever discovered his name is José Gonzáles rather than Joe Smith.
  14. I think Ryan is doing great work with his YouTube channel and bringing this case to a bigger audience. A lot of people that never heard of D.B.Cooper might get interested this way and get into the 'Cooper vortex'. Thats how it started for me about 7 years ago when I stumbled on Bruce Smith's YouTube channel. I watched all his videos and got hooked on this case. Before that I didn't even know who D.B. Cooper was. Same goes for the Cooper Vortex podcast: it really helps bringing attention to this case and offers tons of helpfull information. So Ryan has his opinion on where Cooper landed and that is okay as long as he doesn't present it as a fact.
  15. @35:48 is one of the most ludicrous Cooper theories i've ever heard. Like Cooper would plan everything around the wedding of a populair high school music teacher in the middle of nowhere: "I gotta get out of the plane now because the people of La Center are at the wedding of the local music teacher!" XD
