  1. Yes i think you should listen to tree on this.Openings are the very least of your problems for a fragile body.more problems can be found on "the list" hard openings and object strikes are just "luck of the draw"(sometimes but not always) big country base998

I too am really scared of horses. Who has inspired you in BASE jumping? All of you inspire me in one or another but what you should have done is talked my clumsy ass out of this shit.oh well...to late now. What is your most memorable BASE jumping moment? Climbing down an 1100' A after the elevator got stuck and watching lighting strike all around us just knowing it was going to hit us at any second.Man that was on bitch of a storm. Describe Jason Kennon in 5 words or less: fun, caring, calm, easy going I BASE jump because… Everything in my life is changeable except the fact that i will die.I know this will happen and i cannot stop it nor can choose how or when. But one thing i can do is live every moment like it is my last and make the most out of life i have. big country base998

  5. keep up the good work jason this could be huge for base.if this goes through...will there be a rescue boat like twin falls?how will he be paid since he is not taking jumpers back to the packing area?i think it may be tough to find someone to sit in a boat all the time if we are not making it worth his/her while. big country base998

Thanks Yuri as always your knowledge has been helpful. I myself have been on the top of towers and had the wind change directions on me from exit to open and to tell the truth a few times i have climbed down. had i had this info then i would not have wasted so many steps....in the wrong direction. big country base998
  9. Kevin...you know ray is just old school don't go changing what ain't broke....but then again he did dress a sheep that wasn't cold big country base998

  16. I am thinking of doing the Johnny Utah course since it is the least expensive you my friend are making a huge mistake.taking a fjc solely because it is the cheapest could cost you in the the long run. BUT it is your lucky day because you also chose the best. so it won't cost you in the long run. i took his course about 2 years ago and i have to say i was not expecting to learn as much as i did. after the course was over we left with a lot of jumps, unhurt (thats always a plus),a wealth of knowledge, the confidence to go other places not so forgiving as tf and make safe base jumps. the 1 on 1 time you get with johnny is priceless if you just listen to what he has to tell you and pay attention you will have a really good time and leave there with alot of good memories. if you have any more questions about his course you can pm me or e-mail. big country base998
  17. hardest opening was under an original sabre 190. i had about 20-30 skydives and i pulled in a track(what was i thinking) when i landed i thought my legs were broke. the pants i was wearing were completely ripped in two from the botton all the way to the belt line. it took over two weeks for the bruises to heal so i could jump again. show me a 2 sec.delay that can do that i'll kiss your ass. haha. big country base998
  18. yeah good call it is a small market and they don't need to know about it. lets just hope they don't come to a dz and want to jump... big country base998
  19. what about music i pay to download do i have any right to use it? i did pay for that why all the musicians were crying because it was free.. now i pay don't i own some rights to it now to use? i am not sure how all this works but i make a hell of alot of videos but i don't sell them or copyright them. i charge for videoing the jump and because i'm a hell of a nice guy i put in on a tape or dvd with music and I GIVE it to the students. how would that hold up? technecally i am not making money off their music. big country base998
  20. thanks monkey... what about the openings on the original sabre? i once landed with two halves of a pair of pants after a sabre opening and some really bad leg bruises to match. big country base998

  23. SAVE THE RACK !!! when she starts seeing her belly button between her nipples then by all means get em reduced but until then don't fix what ain't broke!!! ha ha big country base998
  24. ok this is my personal experience: i have never had the risers hit my side mounted camera except when i jumped a rig that was not sized for me ie. the yolk being to small also like stated above going into a sit posistion helps with the hard openings.the type of canopy you are jumping and body posistion also play a huge roll in riser strike in my opinion the two best canopies for camera flight are the pd spectre and the icarus crossfire.but like i said this is just my own personal experience so flaming is not welcome ha ha!! blue skies, jason kennon big country base998
