We did something similar a few years ago. There were four of us and we were attempting to do 100 skydives each within a 12 hour period. We were relatively low jump numbers and definately not fit enough! We started at 0600 with some low cloud and rain. 5 rigs each, around 2.5 minutes from wheels up to wheels down. One porter JM's in the plane despatching us and checking our gear etc people catching us and getting us out of and back into harnesses. About a 4/5 sec delay leaving the aeroplane. We finished with around 4 minutes to spare to the sound of the "final countdown" blaring from the radio and the best sunset I have seen in a while. Also a charity event. It was wicked. The best sleep therapy I have ever tried was to write a diary. Humour me: A real live paper book/notepad with a pen/pencil. In bed, write all about your day, feelings, what you are thinking and what you still need to do the next day. Do this for a couple of weeks. Noone else reads it, not even you again. It is meant to allow you to clear your mind. It did wonders for me. Put my life into perspective too! If you give it a bash, let me know how it went... I am sure this debate will be continuing for a while, but since I was there I can clear up the misconceptions. The female meet was not called on the Sunday and that was also not the last day of the meet. Monday was the official last day. That was why there was no awards ceremony for the female event and the official results had a "to be completed" heading on the category. Both teams were asked if they wanted to complete the full draw and they both agreed. (3 times) Both teams were at the DZ on Monday for the remaining 3 jumps and Quintoya chose not to board the plane, so scored O's for the last 3 rounds. So sorry to correct you Karl and Alex. It was unfortunate that internal team politics prevented them from completing the competition, as it was very close and would have been awesome to have the 2 teams there for the remainder of the competition. ha ha, I managed to sit through that for a while too: She did indeed have a camera helmet on (First Jump) and she had a pull out system (Which I think still had a stowed main and pilot chute as she came drifting down. Hey, We are currently in the middle of a camp in the Bodyflight tunnel in Bedford. I have flown in the Orlando tunnel a few years ago, so I have a point of comparison. If you are keen to do solo flying and 2 ways, any tunnel will do really. If you are serious about 4 way or bigger, the Bodyflight tunnel is awesome. We have been doing 4 ways very comfortably in the tunnel and there are no issues with regards to size/wind or smacking walls. Enjoy! I think true friendship is under-rated Twitter: @Dreamskygirlsa

Of all things. I have issues, woken up at 4 in the morning to hear flapping in my bedroom. I yelled at the only culprit I could vaguely see, which was my pitch black teenage cat, Bella heading out the sliding door onto the balcony. Still more flapping. So I haul out of be with nothing but socks on - standard bed attire and follow her onto the balcony. More flapping. I reach down and pick up the flapper and low and behold, not a bat, but a bird. So now I don't know if it is hurt, but I know it is scared. My first instinct was to lob it over the balcony and yell "Fly away!", but then I remembered that birds are pretty useless at night, so I went back inside and got my adidas shoe box out, emptied out the papers and headed to the cupboard to find an old skydiving t-shirt to put it in. YIKES, I felt a searing pain on my stomach and realised that the damn feisty wagtail had bitten me on my tummy! HUMPH!! So I put the damn thing in the box and put it in my cupboard for the remainder of the morning. It did not last long, by 5 am this morning the other birds outside were chirping much better and woke it up. I heard it trying to get out, so i got up - put a top on (Learnt that lesson) and took it to the ledge, wanting to inspect it for any injury. But as I lifted the lid, it flapped for the last time and flew off into the nearest tree. Damn thing. At this stage I was feeling hurt and I proceeded to inspect my injury. Low and behold, I have a red mark on my tummy where it had bitten me! So I am not sure if it was an angry teenager or a feisty PMS'ing chick, but either way I am glad it is ok. Even if I ended up being the injured one! The question is : Do I need a tetanis injection for getting bitten by a bird? I think true friendship is under-rated Twitter: @Dreamskygirlsa
