How? I didnt know a bend could be brought about by low pressure. What would cause the nitrogen bubbles? As far as I remember from my physics classes at all these applies the Boyle law (http://www.flash.net/~table/gasses/boyle1.htm) In the case of a high altitude you will breathe nitrogen also in a low pressure and when you will land all that nitrogen in your body will be ''ibflate''. Of course that needs long stay in high altitude Am I wrong?

I meant the opposite that even if you have a high altitude jump and then you scuba dive then you may have a problem again. As far as I know high altittude jumps may have bends effects (under some conditions)
-
I think if you do some high altitude jumps you may have problem.... I am not sure about that.

I will vote for flat turns and if you are really close to the ground prepare to flare from where the brakes are. I would suggest you to attend a canopy school were these practises are tought. They will teach you how to land on 1/4 or 1/2 brakes and land safe.

If you collapse it and you dont have any bumbers the best thing is to pull it down the brakes (before unstowing them).

PD snob too. I have changed abt 4 canopies all of them PD. I am really happy with them. A friend just jumped one of my PD and he was amazed. He will go for it!

Does everyone use their Altimeter always??
kyros1 replied to Skyvixen's topic in Safety and Training
I always wear mine except once that I forgot it but I was wearing my audible. So the proper order is audible is a back up to altimeter which is a back up to eyeball -
Oh, that superstitions! Oh that myths!

Here in Greece we banish bad eye (negative energy coming from jealousy etc). You either say a special pray or you ask from someone that knows how to remove it to do so. Personally, I believe that bad energy can be transfered for person to person. -
pack yourself or getting packed
kyros1 replied to feuergnom's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Depends. When I am visiting US and I want to get many many jumps I am getting my 2 rigs and I let packers to do their job... so I can do back to backs. When I am at my local DZ I pack sometimes. I pack at home for sure -

I use the brake lines as a refere ce to see if the container has twisted -
A good separation is something that will help. As I remember when I was getting freefly coach jumps we were jumping before experienced freeflyers.
