I have a slight delema, There is a great rig for sale that is 1100. I want it badly because it is freefly friendly and is at a great price and fits. I also want to goto a tunnel camp that is also 1100. I have 20 jumps and my A license (just got it this weekend! yay) What do you guys think? tunnel camp, or rig? I agree with most of the people on this forum. Why the hell would you ever pad your log book? Eh.. oh well everyone knows me at my dropzone and they know I have only 16 jumps.. 20 by this weekend. I have had consecutive weeks where everynight I dreamed about free fall and also about falling and about the canopy ride as well. Last night infact I had a dream that I went skydiving with friends that have never been I landed off dz in a powerline. wierd huh. They all landed safely, but the dreams are not realistic because everything is slowed down and kinda cartoon like, oh well tons of fun anyways, im always anxious to sleep and see what amazing worlds I can explore next. There are good points for both sides, There are several reasons I choose to be a vegitarian. The main reason was education. I started reading books one in particular that changed my entire outlook on the meat industry and the morality of being a carnivore. I as a human being cannot support that type of industry. We are on top of the food chain so why dont we treat these animals the dignity and respect they deserve? We simply don't and if anyone believes they live on a big happy farm then they need to do some research and open their eyes to the real situation. If you are going to eat meat just make an effort to get organic range fed meat. Simple as that and you can bite into your steak knowing its misery isn't being passed into you. You are what you eat! Anyways the book that changed my entire world around was "Diet for a new america" and it is not a "dieting book" but more informational book about the social and moral delemas meat eaters face. I think it is neccesary to understand that there are certain risk beyond the fact that there is a danger of dying of your parachute not opening. I am new, so the risk are fresh in my mind. In my mind it is only when we realize the risk then we can be safe. If you think everything will work out, you might find yourself in a situation which "everything" will not work out and you could die. Anyways in response to the question I choose to skydive because I accept the risks, If I could die doing something I loved (rather then being hit by a car or die of illness) then I think it would be worth it. I had a Honder Intercepter 500. It was an excellent learning bike. I used it as my main transportation, great gas milage. I think riding a motorcycle is much more dangerous then skydiving.
