If you and/or your rig have ADD, I would suggest getting an AAD. If neither of you have ADD, you probably don't need an AAD

I just acquired a fancy new 5 pound packing weight. It was nice enough to fall on my toe after I pulled a reserve out of the freebag. I'm glad it wasn't over the owners head at 120mph when it came out. Count your tools folks

I watched a successful line mod save on a line over off of a cliff. 390 feet. He had a full 360 degree rotation, threw the toggles and stood it up on the road with risers. edit for site name ~TA

I have a customers Javelin J-3 manufactured in February of 1991 in for a repack. The top flap on the reserve (the flap that covers the pin and holds the data card) needs the clear plastic replaced. It is cracked. Can anyone tell me what the specs are on that plastic and/or where I can get some? I checked para-gear, but can't seem to find a match. Thanks

[New canopies always come with links. No they don't. I just hooked up a Sabre2 straight from PD. It was hooked on the PD card with plastic zip ties.

I'm saying that base specific gear failed. Stouts PC failed and so did the one a couple months ago. If you read back in the archives, you'll see that he took a 3 second delay with a 42 inch PC. Is that an over delay?

Thanks for bringing that up. There was a good little article in Skydiving magazine that showed a picture of a bridle knotted around a hackey handle on a skydive resulting in a PC in tow. Don't use hackey handle PC's on base jumps.
