About four years ago, I broke two vertebrae in my back on a tandem jump - my student walked away, so I did my job - but I had to quit. Since then, I have taken up another “safer” sport – firearms competition and instruction. IMO, I read somewhere that your stows need to be so tight that you can lift the bag by the lines and they will not unstow. On my main, I use small rubber bands and double wrap each one. Of course, a rigger is the best person to consult for packing techniques.
