  1. 131 - Surviving the Game 38 - Street Hawk (old motorcycle tv show) 21 - Highlander 31 - Point Break I did get this, though, and now I want to know what movie that was about. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  2. Stumped it with House of 1000 Corpses and Judgment Night back to back. Hehe. Got me in 31 for Princess Bride. Damn. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  3. Nailed CSI in 20 questions, Spongebob in 8 serious questions, and MXC in less than 15. Cool site... I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  4. On the back of a Pinto: "Caution, may spontaneously combust." and "Keep back 500 feet in case of explosion." (Anyone who knows about Pintos would get the irony) The best one I ever saw: "Busch/Quail '92. My kind of party." (In support of NRA). I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  5. Didn't have my camera on me and cant afford one of those camera phones. Although, that little digital one you have could have been handy... But, alas, we were just so stunned it was happening... I will get photos next time... Only if YOU will be participating next time I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  6. unfortunately, she was not there. there was a blonde, 2 brunettes, and one Asian. (Sorry, I am not PC at this moment...) All of them were in the skimpiest bikinis you could imagine. It makes me think that they weren't Hooters girls, but maybe Mikita girls (there is this huge Mikita thing going on this weekend here)... Damn security... I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  7. I went outside for lunch and to my amazement, the Hooters Girls were doing a bikini photo shoot in our business parking lot! Needless to say, quite a few men didn't eat lunch today! My day just got a whole lot better! Then security told them to move because they did not have the authority to be here. 8. Sorry, couldn't find a pic of that. Maybe someone here *cough - CrazyIvan - cough* may be able to dig one up.
  9. I thought this one was nice when I flew into there last January. Of course, I am from Iowa, where the airports look like this, this (yes, that is one of our larger airports), and this. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire

  12. One thing I want to point out, Winn also used other sources not available to me. He used internal history resources as well as other Islamic doctrines. I can not defend everything he said, but I will bring the Koran and do my best to show what he said is in print. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  13. Is today "blue" day? Please? I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  14. English and Composition Lesson 101: Unfortunately, if you read what YOU wrote, you would see that it was pure substantial; an opinion. There are sections in the Koran that support that kind of behavior, and evidences from Muhammad's life that also support that statement, but the book of Islam is not about Muhammad, so you will not find that quote in there. Furthermore, the reference quote that you responded to said "95% of his quotes", not all of them. Although I can easily find the verses in the Koran, I can find no verse to support everything he says about the man himself. If this is a source of tension and anger for you, there is therapy. I would love to quote from the Koran and on Monday I will bring it to work. See, I have no internet access at home, only at work. So Monday, I will quote anything you wish me to quote. Deal? 18. Unfortunately, he is correct in 95% of his quotes. I have a Koran, I studied Islam in college, I was involved in religious debates, and his quotes exist. He didn't interpret it into what he wanted, it is there. How you read "kill the infidels" is up to you, but is tells me that someone is prejudice. Yes, there are also versus in the Koran that talk about love, life, and well-being, but the majority of the book is not that way. There is a reason there are multi factions of Islam, the same way there are multi factions of Christianity. There are different ways to look at the book, but the book still says the same things. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  19. Yeah, and Paul that wrote 2/3 of the New Testament was also known as Saul, a crusifier of Christians. It doesn't take a rocket scientist or a religion guru to open a book, see what it says, and be able to understand it. When the book says "kill all the infidels," how else can you interpret that? No religion isn't black and white and I never said it was... but writing is black and white (or blue and white, or red and white, depending on what color font you use). I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  20. Subject: Honda Commercial New Honda Commercial in the U.K. There are no computer graphics or digital tricks in the film. Everything you see really happened in real time exactly as you see it. The film took 606 takes. On the first 605 takes, something, usually very minor, didn't work. They would then have to set the whole thing up again. The crew spent weeks shooting night and day. The film cost six million dollars and took three months to complete, including a full engineering the sequence. In addition, it's two minutes long so every time Honda airs the film on British television, they're shelling out enough dough to keep any one of us in clover for a lifetime. However, it is fast becoming the most down loaded advertisement in Internet history. Honda executives figure the ad will soon pay for itself simply in "free" viewings (Honda isn't paying a dime to have you watch this commercial!). When the ad was pitched to senior executives, they signed off on it immediately without any hesitation . . . including the costs. There are six and only six handmade Accords in the world. To the horror of Honda engineers, the film makers disassembled two of them to make the film. Everything you see in the film (aside from the walls, floor, ramp, and complete Honda Accord) are parts from those two cars. The voice-over is Garrison Keillor. When the ad was shown to Honda executives, they liked it and commented on how amazing computer graphics have gotten. They fell off their chairs when they found out it was for real. Oh! And about those funky windshield wipers. On the new Accords, the windshield wipers have water sensors and are designed to start doing their thing automatically as soon as they become wet. It looks a bit weird in the commercial. Just one-second of computer generation is used to link the two halves. . . when an exhaust pipe rolls across the floor. At one point, three tires roll uphill because inside they have been weighted with bolts and screws. Go to this website and watch the commercial. You won't believe it! Honda Commercial I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  21. Hey, uh, hate to be the one to "shed light" on reality, but it happens all the time. Every newspaper article, every television news broadcast, every radio snippet takes the quotes they want to justify their position. It is nothing new. If you start slamming Billvon's character and ethics, you might want to look at the very sources you begin to hold in high regard, because they chose what they wanted to report. By your standards, nobody has ethics, character or the whole story, and I refuse to believe that. It doesn't matter which side of the fence you are on, or what side of politics you choose to defend, once you decide on a platform, you get the quotes to back you. People take what they want to hear or remember from an article, that is the underlying idea of media. You will never remember the entire article or the backgrounds, but you will remember if somewhere you read "Abuse of prisioners OK" or "GWB says this" or "Clinton did that." The whole story is always forgotten, so don't blame Billvon for just being human. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
  22. I personally wouldn't say that, but if you were to dig into the Koran, you would find that terrorism, fighting, killing infidels until all the world sees Allah as the true God is written and studied and worshipped. Does every Muslim believe this? Probably not. Does every Christian believe the Bible is true? Probably not. But the vast majority does. In Islam, any Muslim that does not believe the Koran is true is considered a traiter and treated as one. Read This. You can't argue with what the Islam book says... it is in black and white. I have a copy I would mail you if you want to read it too. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire

  24. Cruiselites did have detached stabilizers... I jumped one for nearly a year. Only one problem, if I remember correctly, Cruiselites had line attachements, not direct attachment. The risers are definately from a Main Deployment System, but the last time I saw an F111 with a pull-out deployment system was... well... never. Usually pull-out systems are used with ZP fabric (at least all the pull-out systems that I have packed were ZP fabric). But what exactly is a 205/150? Never heard of that as a canopy description before. Ironic, isn't it, that for his lack of knowledge of this canopy, he managed to keep the company logos and id patches out of the photographs? 25. Who is going to file charges agains the shooter? The guy that got shot? He is dead. The police? They were not involved in the incident, therefore they can not file charges. The only one that can is the State Of Illinios, in which case the courts have to see the evidence in order to press the charges... and we all know how long the justice system takes. Justifiable Self Defense? Unless the victim (dead guy) physically pulled the driver from the vehicle and started whacking uncontrollably, I doubt it is justifiable self defense ... especially when it was a BYSTANDER that pulled the gun and shot the guy, not the driver.
