    Here in Carlsbad there's no mandatory evacuation so we are sitting here hoping we don't have to leave. Winds have been very calm in Carlsbad all day which is a hell of a lot better than the weather forecast predicted last night.

    thanks for the pointers everyone. I can't meet the 200 jumps in 12 months currency hurdle, but will try the DZ's suggested. Will certainly have a great holiday regardless!

    Looking for a DZ down under in one of the above cities where my brother could do a tandem that I can swoop. I have 430 jumps, am current, USPA D-license, have swooped about 10 tandems and can put you in touch with tandem masters for references. We could jump in Sydney Nov 10-14, Melbourne Nov 16-19 or Perth Nov 21-22. Regards, Andy
