    Dan, if you can get as close as Melbourne I guarantee you a ride. EVERYONE - the water is here. Today it happened. We have city water. No more rotten egg smell - which by the way means that now you can't walk out of there and when the next person complains about the smell have an excuse but who cares. You can wash your hands and smell clean, shower and smell clean, brush your teeth and not gag! It's heaven here right now - ok it's a little cold it was only in the 60's today but whatever....

    IT'S HISTORY, BABY!!! I saw it when I pulled into the lot today but I still didn't believe it would happen. Then just 10 minutes ago I went into the bathroom, locked the door and washed my hands. You know what? The water looked clean and smelled great. I ran from the room and shoved my hands in everyone's face and all you could smell was nice clean soap smell - no sulfer, no rotten eggs. I just went back and drank some - no gagging!!! I'm going to go do a little clean water dance now...

    You guys are going to get all loaded up on your thermals and it's going to end up being really warm. So we'll have to do a jump in just thermal underwear - you know, instead of a lingerie jump. Dan, come back and play. GA isn't that far away and I believe Shimmel is going to be here. I think we are going to put him to work spinning some vinyl at night.

    It was 73 degrees and beautiful today! Even I managed to get up there and didn't complain about the cold!

    Oh you are so welcome! I'm mad because I was under the gun at home when I had to send the blurb into Parachutist about the event and I couldn't remember your last name so I didn't get anything in there about your wedding - which would have been very cool. Thanks for doing it at the Keys Boogie - it added another something special about the whole event.

    Ok, it's getting closer to this event. We are 99% sure at this point that there will be a mechanical bull here and there will be prizes (some cash) for bull riding. I've already bought my cowboy hat and believe it or not, I already owned chaps. Whiskey is on order - yuck!! I'll stick to the jello shots which will also be there. We will be having a catered BBQ - ribs & chicken and we'll come up with something for you vegetarian types! Tiki bar will be open with our 'controled firepit' - sorry, we live in a tight town. We had to go buy some little fire containment device in order to have it at all. Anyways, there will be prizes for best western attire as well. Plenty of load organzizing, rodeo dives, round ups, etc, etc.... you need to be there.

    Freezing cold compared to where? It's December and it's 70 degrees right now - which for me it spretty cold actually! We usually get a week or two maybe four at the most of cold weather but that is right around Christmas and New Year's. February should be pretty cozy again.

    I don't know if I should be writing that on this thread but since you asked - yes, it is here and will be here in Sebastian this weekend - barring any disasters or unforseen mechanical difficulties. And we do share. Both planes usually sit here unless they are needed somewhere else - we usually don't gripe too much about it. I think there is plenty of room in Florida for all the dz's. I love that you can hop in your car and hit another dz or two in a day if you want to or three or four if you really push it! And don't worry, since we've been flying the skyvan the last few weekends, I picked up a big box of earplugs and I'll give them to everyone. They are sitting in manifest.

    Christmas time? pretty much Christmas to NewYears means fun! We've got Drew & Will organizing. Cisco comes and goes and joins in the organizing. There will be dinners & parties. We were thinking about a themed New Year's party. We are looking at some Freefly scrambles, lots of tracking dives, some hit & chugs. And why is Kazoo not coming to do his 500th here? And is it Kazoo or Kazu or is that why he just goes with "big jap"? What is wrong with that boy?

    Well, that's interesting, if the otter that is supposed to be at our dz is in Clewiston I guess that means Sebastian will be jumping the SKYVAN!!!

    The main reason you wont find a dz in Florida willing to do this is because Florida law states that a minor can not legally sign away their own rights nor can their guardian legally sign off so they are a legal loophole just waiting to gobble up some poor unsuspecting dz!

    NOOOOO!!! Come this weekend we are thinking about doing an impromptu freefly scrambles just for fun to see how it goes and work out some bugs. If it goes well. We'll do it for fun a few weekends in a row and then have a money meet!

    You know you can come even if you aren't "jumpable" by then. We will socialize with non-jumpers (if we must). Hell, I couldn't jump for two months with my stupid gimp arm. Denise, be patient - the water is coming. It's so damn close now. The meter is in, the plumber has the paperwork - as soon as the permits are cleared they should start sending it our way. I think we will have a special event for it. We can have a SSSSS. That would be a Skydive Sebastian Sexy Shower Soiree. We can do it up with lights & fog in the big bathrooms in the team room building - wait wrong thread.... Naughty Cupid Boogie - hmmmm.... showers, fog, foam???? anyone know where to get a foam machine? Foam in the newly clean water showers would be fun - don't get the wings wet!

    Sebastian is warm. We have free camping and buying a little tent at walmart is still cheaper than a hotel. Anyways, just get to Florida - all the dz's are close enough to rent a car - which is cheap in FL - and dropzone hop if you want to.

    I'm glad to see you made it home - you were suffering from the jello hangover when I saw you leaving. I agree, though - Shimmell - you could have brought your hottie with you - you have no excuse - so zip it!

    Yes it was a great weekend - we not only had the swoop meet here that went very well, free pizza, free jello shots - I was blamed for so many hangovers - but we also raised $800.00 for our local humane society. I had hoped to raise more but tandems were very slow this weekend so most of this came from us. Thank you alll the jumpers who participated in the fundraiser...Brooke, Ali, Denise, Samantah, Chris, Jay, Ian, Shannon, Cisco, Tito, Ricky, Justin, Rob, Uwe, David, Amanda, Earl, Melibe, Chris, Ed, Kelly, Baxter, Molly, Tyler, Kendra, Bruno, John, Don, Nicole, Brad, Wendy, Wendy, Bonnie, Tiffany, Greg, Kate, Mark, Mick and James!!!

    I know it was TOTALLY SWEET - wasn't it? (Jay is going to beat us up, you know). Thanks for coming out and don't be such a stranger - that goes for everyone. We had some people jumping with us for the first time - that is just wrong. How could you live or come to Florida and not come here for at least one jump? I'm being blamed for many jello hangovers today - I only supplied them - ok, maybe I did push them a little bit too - but.... Why are you not here right now jumping? There are still quite a few people running around. The SkyVan is flying. Don't worry the jello shots are all gone. There is still cold pizza, however! Akita's do rule - we'll have to get our girls together soon. Next time I'll sneak her in after hours. There were too many illegal dogs there last night for me to bring her out. It's hard for me to tell other people their dog can't be running around if my own is. Remember consistency is the best training method - alright that or a shock collar.

    Ok, we had 23 swoopers compete in two classes. I don't know the standings yet - they are still scoring but it was a great day. Things went nice & smooth. We got a freaky little storm blew through on the last round of the last round -(does that make sense? oh well, it does to me) - so had to wait around for a rejump until sunset. Which was beautiful by the way. As soon as they tell me how much money we have to cough up - and boy, this is going to hurt - thank god no more of you came - we are going to go eat some free pizza, eat my special jello shots that I stayed up late last night making - with extra vodka, and watch a kick ass fireworks show. Or at least it should be - I keep trying to go bigger with each event.

    no way, I can't believe vanillaskygirl,stacy & skymamma will all be here! That rocks! You guys I am trying out my latest pyro skills tonight. I think I've really outdone myself this time. I'm waiting for the swoop meet to finish with the scores so we can do the awards and I can fire them up. We also made several hundred jello shots - I'm getting better at them - less water, more vodka and if you really like it I can make less water & vodka and they come out like hockey pucks - ok, well, softer than hockey pucks but very fun to play with & eat. Anyways, I digress... schweeet... we will really go big for this one. Oh, Brooke & Ali are here right now - they came to play for the weekend while we were having a swoop comp and a fundraiser for the humane society. (They both donated, I'm happy to say) I've got to run and push these guys so we can have some solid alcoholic treats & fire up the sky.

    To answer the latest splurge of questions - Yes Drew will be here organziing. Yes, camping is free. Yes, there will be jello shots at the tiki bar Saturday night - if nothing drastic happens to me between now and then! And Denise - this will not help you out this weekend but this is huge, huge news - we the meter hooked up for the city water & the plumber is getting the permits and very, very soon we will have city water - goodbye stinky water.....

    Mardo Island over a weekend with the Pink Mafia? come on - I'll see if I can arrange beach jumps for us that weekend and then you wont be missing a thing! You'll have beautiful women, we have beautiful views, great planes, should be an Otter and a SkyVan that weekend and as usual jello shots, the tiki bar, mini fire in the contained pit - sorry local laws - but we usually sneak in a kick ass fireworks show. If I don't get in trouble for the one this week - we'll be styling!
