  1. I think that this should be true, we should be able to put our rigs at the weight limit using led, just as others swoopers rigs are already there. come on you still have a 20 lb advantage in total weight overall if you are a large person, why shouldn't we be able to have the same weight in our rigs?
  2. I am going to try to make it there this year, but as Ian said a what a busy time of year,
  3. Has anyone swooped a pond with smoke on their feet, if so, what happens when smoke gets wet? Does the water put out the smoke, or does the canister stay smoking with a little water contact? with alot of water contact? with water splashes? or fully submerged? Should you jump with two canisters on one foot or one canister on each foot if you would like to use two? What are the best toe drags on water for wearing smoke? Thanks all all the info guys,

  5. Just wondering what dates the Skydive Chicago's cpc is scheduled for their first meet, Do we qualify to swoop the pond before the competition, or would we need to show up a few weekends early to qualify? Thanks much for the info. Can't wait for the competition.
  6. I have a Pc-350 and cam eye 2 you need no adapter, they work great with eachother, good luck with your set up, Nick
  7. Just wondering what the best sony pc side mount digital camcorder there is on the market right now 2005 model, and a good place to buy it, thanks
  8. Is there anyone in Missouri or Illinois running a CPC swooping event? SKydive Chicago is building a pond, that would be a nice place to hold the events each month. Any info please respond, Thanks
  9. what about the incidents where the canopy colapses on a straight in approach with no radical turns or speed. If we are moving slower in an approach would the parachute be more responsive to a side wind, or a gust that could collapse the parachute? I am asking cause I am an aggresive pilot who consistently does 270's under a Xaos27 78ft. And my teammate has the same parachute same wingloading. In the incident report, you will see under fatality that his Xaos collapseed after a straight in approach. Are certain x-braces more sensitive to side winds or collapsing at low speeds.
  10. Do cross braced canopies fly as well and safetly in a straight in approach with less lift and pressure, as they do in high speed swoops with lots of lift and pressure. Is one of the cross braced canopies better at low speed landings particuarly, or do they handle the scenario the same. Or should a person under a cross braced parachute use a more aggresive flying style.
  11. go under incidents and then deaths . It was noted on the 27th. A Xaos wingloaded at 2.1 was coming in on its final approach, and the left side of the parachute folded under causing it to collapse and spiral to the ground. The approach was straight in, and there were no radical or extreme imputs. Not sure what factors play a part in the collapsing. We lost a great friend, and don't know why, Shadow
  12. Is there a difference in front riser pressure between a Xaos, VX, or Velocity. Does a particular crossed brace of those three have a higher risk of collapsing in regular or low speed flight due to the front riser pressure than another. Such as the incident in st. Louis under a Xaos
