Oh wise Bill.... That is actually very good advice. I met him AFTER I started skydiving, so I assumed he'd always be ok with me doing it to my heart's content. Now I just don't know if it's more him or me. He's generally very supportive of my skydiving. But it bothers me that he doesn't understand why I love it so much...then there's also the guilt I feel for leaving him by himself on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Phew...I feel like I just got out of a therapy session.

Well said! That is so true. I just think how much easier it would be if he were a skydiver. Selfish? Yes, probably.

Good point, but you have to admit that most skydivers take it to a different level. Am I right?

When I try to justify the amount of time I spend at the dz, he thinks we skydivers are trying to be "above" those who don't do it. I try to explain that it's just different than anything else, not necessarily better. Ok, so it is better.....

I'm jealous, Bill!! But fortunately I got some of my own tunnel time in Perris. It was no FIVE HOURS (geez), but it'll do for now. Next time I'm coming with you!

That is exactly what I was just going to say. If somebody I have never met came into my home, I sure as hell wouldn't wait for them to come to me. I would do what I could to make them feel as welcome as possible on my turf.
