    I feel like people who have skydived, enjoy(ed) it, should be welcome to be part of our little skydiving area. I mean plenty of people use this information for more knowledge about the sport, and the safety precautions that skydivers use. I'm sure there are people that check this site out before even going to make their first jump. How can one exclude them in this? I don't see how it can be fair... ...everyone in our sports makes a contribution, at least in my eyes. Whether you have 1 jump or 50 or thousands... Just my thoughts!!!     Sure why not... The fact is I know of a few good skydivers that had major injuries that have stopped them from being able to jump. They're still full of information, and still pass that information onto the less informed. I'm greatful to have them in our community!     Heres where you need to start: What are you wanting to use the first two for?Are you looking for a revolver or a semi-auto? What caliber are you interested in? if semi-auto are you looking for a specific magazine capacity?Do you have a favorite/preferred brand?About what price range are you looking at for each?For the 3rd being used for protection are you looking to carry it (Concealed Handgun License) or just keep it for home defense?If you want a good home defense weapon nothing beats a good shotgun with the right load sometimes. Just a few thing you might want to think about.PM me for more info/questions so this doesnt get moved to the SC. Personally,I have a CHL and carry a Springfield 1911A1 GI .45ACP Champion.     Ohhhh, so good to know.... I'm looking at buying myself a few guns... i think your expertise may help me... I'm not sure what kind yet, but i know i want at least a pistol and rifle. Perhaps a 3rd for protection... but i know i need the first 2

    why aren't you sailing>???? Good post... I used to volunteer as an EMT on one of the first aid squads. But since i've moved to alaska, i've decided that I want to do search and rescue. I feel that it's a lot of hard work but the reward would be never-ending!!! :-) I'm also looking at starting to volunteer in a soup kitchen. It's been something that i used to do, and am trying to get back into the habit of doing again.
