Hey, I figure this is the perfect place to ask about these. I need to get a "cool" pair for an upcoming get together I'm going to, and I am trying to find something original, fun, crazy, kick ass, etc... So who can help? Okay I'm in!!! I've been sick for the last 2 weeks, and haven't done much (thus no updates on the weekly workout stuff)... Anyway, my goals... ummm... I guess I'm gonna go with less fat, more muscle. I'll say i want to be 2 sizes down in clothing, or maybe more like 1.5.... but well we got what I mean. Okay... I'm in... I'll eat healthy (or healthier), more gym runs, more outdoor activitiy... less bad food... What the heck! I'm lucky, the metal in my ankle doesn't set the detector off. But i did have to fly home after breaking my ankle in CA, and let me tell you, going thru security on crutches sucks!!! I swear they thought i was smuggling drugs in my cast or something. T - Totally S - Stupid A - Asshats The metal in my arm (which i just saw a recent XRay of and there's a lot of it) and in my femur (lots in there too) don't set off the detectors. I was in a wheelchair when i first messed the femur and had the alarms go off (of course i was in a wheelchair), and the TSA was nice about it. Maybe it was because I had no problems taking my pants off in the middle of the security site, instead of behind closed doors, and they just wanted me out of there!!!

No doing good... Well, i got real sick sunday/monday, and i'm still not 100%. I've been walking a lot for work, but not real exercise besides that unfortunately. I know I need to be, but I still have a cough, and I'm still congested, so i don't want to be doing stuff, until i feel all better. I'm getting better, but still not 100%... It sucks... I hate being sick :-( I hate not being able to do stuff. Last sunday was fantastic, I felt so great during my soccer games. I played real well for both my teams! It was fantastic!!! I'm a little behind on my posting.. Sorry So Friday, I didn't do anything, nor had plans to do anything. Yesterday I jogged 4 miles (which was planned), today i played 2 games of soccer (i rocked them too, by the way). Tomorrow I'm planning on doing my training for the marathon run. I think i'm doing 3 minutes of jogging, 1 min of walking for 9 times, wednesday I plan on doing 2 mins of jogging, 1 min walking for 8 times, friday i'm planning on jogging 5 miles I believe it is (i gotta look at my training book). I have a curling game on wednesday as well. I'm starting my new job, so I'm not sure how tough that's going to be with keeping training/running up. That's really all i have for this upcoming week. The pros though: my knee, leg feels fantastic!!! And, yesterday i was able to say no to the girl scouts who were selling cookies. I'm very proud of that one! The book's much better than the movie. They changed some important 'issues/concerns' in the movie from the book. Still i liked the format that they put the movie in. Of course, if one reads the book you'll be questioning it for a while, until you get used to it. At least I did anyway. Ya, that article in outside was depressing. Book is still pretty good though. He definitely was NOT trained to be out there, and had no business doing what he did without the proper training. Sigh... Not good... Last saturday I hurt my leg. Well, I over worked it, and i'm still paying for it right now. Plus starting a new job, i've been crazy as heck!!! This week... try to do the stuff i SHOULD have done this pask week... I hope i can... Tomorrow, i have a run, and a hike i'm doing, sunday i have 2 soccer games, then the week... hopefully do some training... We'll see how the week goes. I've been eating well though, so that's a plus... Hopefully exercise wise will go better this week. My bf suggested my running a marathon in chicago to raise money for a humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. I'm thinking i might be moving my marathon run up. I just have to see if i have to work that particular weekend. I have a lot of friends on myspace, and some of them are older than 40. What's wrong with that? I definitely don't see anything wrong with that. I think myspace/facebook, etc.. is what you make of it. To me.. it's to keep in touch with friends, and people who have similiar intersts.
