  1. must be just my computer but I have tried a few times to open this and it just does not work for me.. oh well www.greenboxphotography.com
  2. As a person that on occassion drives an ambulance I have been very lucky in the fact that I have not wrecked one or gotten stuck. I work with people who have done these things, one person drove off into a lake.. fog was thick and the boat ramp blended in with the road way as they both where black top! No excuse for the driver though, he was in command of the wheel and pedals! I do think a sign is nice, but the drivers shoud know better then to drive into possible soft areas.. my partner and I use extreme caution and would rather wheel the cot down a long driveway then to chance it on getting stuck! www.greenboxphotography.com
  3. Don't you use lasers to remove tattoos? I know several people that have had ink removed with laser treatments. I don't know the diffrences between the hair removal style lasers vs the tat removers, but seems like they should be close to the same. I hope that ulcer area does not get nasty. good luck. www.greenboxphotography.com
  4. Good job! I have my last final this Wed and my wife has one final per day this week and two next week! We look forward to another EMT on the streets, good luck! Joe www.greenboxphotography.com

  7. So an ice storm quickly approaches our area and we have a generator for our horse trailer here at the house, and I am to understand that it can be hooked up to our breaker box if we loose power. Has anyone ever done this and if so how do you do it so we don't fry our home or anything else? I only wish to run our heater if we loose power i think this generator will power or needs, it does a great job with our trailer... www.greenboxphotography.com

  9. some quick updates before we get the tile going. hard to see because the flash went out on my camera. makes me miss those old cameras wheer you had to buy flash bulbs! 1st is the new sink and counter top. 2nd is the stove with the type of tile we are using behind it 3rd. the over all view of the granite top 4th view is our now gutted bathroom! www.greenboxphotography.com
  10. thats a great pic! the little guy is not camera shy! www.greenboxphotography.com
  11. well the granite is in and the tile will be going on next. Placed the range top and the sink in as well.. water and elcetrical need to be turned on and I will try to post up some pics. I may have to post later as my camera's flash just went out on me and seems to be not working at all. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
  12. luvtofly The job will get easier on you, or it does for most anyway and we are glad that you care. In no time you will have a CPR save and that will keep you buzzing for sometime, you will then know why you do the job. My last two cpr saves where on the same guy, many months apart from each episode.. crazy! You will find your way. Good luck Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
  13. OK JD...let's see how you're going to counter that! I am going to counter that with my new counter top.. yes the tile was a total pain to keep clean, thats why it is gone! Our bathrooms are the same stuff, and we are starting on the little bathroom next. Pics on Wed of the counter, it's very nice! www.greenboxphotography.com
  14. did make it to Tulsa, but we had to make a quick return as our dog got very ill back in springfiled Mo and we rushed back to take her to the vet. all is well with her now.. not sure what i can do about bikini pics, she may be a bit shy for those. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
  15. Tonight was th elast night that we had to wash dishes in the buckets. our remodel will be complete on wed morning. Some before and during photos and will post the finished work when complete. The white tile was a pain and we could never get it cleaned well. we also got rid of the white sink and have gone stainless steel. I will have all plumbing and elctrical hooked back up in the morning and the back splash complete and the wife will be happy when she returns home from school in the evening. www.greenboxphotography.com
  16. still like the idea of the minimalist kayaking.. but fun both ways. I just purcahsed a few new dry sacks that double as back packs, very cool stuff. I can't wait to get a trip going this spring, won't be able to do a week long one, but at least two days on the water. www.greenboxphotography.com
  17. Kansas is an at will state, it's funny that I once left a job at my will and was placed on non-rehirable status for failing to give a two week notice, I asked the guy who told me that I could not be rehired if the company gives two week notice if they are going to fire an employee.. he said no and there you have one of the many reasons why I am leaving was my reply. Go fwd 10 years later in life and the company called me to offer me my old job back. thanks but no thanks! www.greenboxphotography.com
  18. I will remove my base boards and repaint those at the time of the floor is getting redone. I am looking fwd to this winter task, should be a fun task. thanks for all the input. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
  19. What is self leveling polyurethane? I will be sure to rid my floor work from the dust, I have had probelms with small projects in the past that saw dust messed up. I have never run an upright sander, I did seal a cement floor once, we used a wet polisher and found that the light touch was hard to master at first. I am a little bit nervous of the upright sander to be honest. The lambs wool is the way to put the polyurethane down? and would it be best to do the whole room at once or can it be done in two sections without thier being a line where i stopped and started? Thanks everyone for your thoughts and not hijacking the thread to much even though the desire is there. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
  20. I would (wood?) hope that you don't because i really want some good info on getting this project under way. My time is very limited to say the least.. today is/ was suposed to be my day off and a few things have crept into my free time.. I don't have alot of time to accomplish things these days and wadeing thru a bunch of dz.drama is a waste to me. www.greenboxphotography.com
  21. thanks for the tips guys. I own a few sanders actually, but was thinking about renting the large floor sander for this project. No stains to speak of on the floor, but where we use the floor the most is really starting to wear thin from the foot and dog traffic. I want to get it under control before we get any damage.. the crappy thing is that i will be redoing an entire room just to repair the small section that shows the wear. I want the room to look even and not just repaired in that area of wear. Is there any thing special i should be aware of for the sealers? I have built some quilt racks and small furniture items in the past and sealed those, but never a floor. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
  22. So I want to redo our hardwood floors and I have never done this before. My wood working skills are decent and I think this project is within my skill set, but want to make sure. Any tip's or tricks from those that accomplished this type of project in the past? www.greenboxphotography.com
  23. Neil did some work for our wedding pull up cords and he does great work, the turn around time was also good. I would recomend him. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
  24. I like it.. I like the minimalist idea of packing in the water filter. Cool stuff. Joe www.greenboxphotography.com
