    ***both are good ways to get started in skydiving,,AFF cost more in dollars in my opion..and really i think depends on the person on which way they go about it,,some can handle all the info needed in AFF and some can't,but all in all ends up the same,guess just depends on how deep ur pocket is in getting started If there are no trials in life,how will u know what is really imprtortant liv2luv luv2liv,,,SUMMOOO 1 lucky

    getting ur A is not that hard..There is not much so called paper work,and u having through AFF ur intructors should be able to direct u to the proper process of getting ur A..Having ur A lic is a good thing it will open up to u oppurtunities to travel to diff DZ's without much hassel..And i must agree with some of the other post the first thing u need to do is relax,,u should have learned that going through AFF,,take a breath and enjoy all that u have to look forward to..Be safe keep going forward and never stop learning,,u can never know too much,when u stop learning u stop living If there are no trials in life,how will u know what is really imprtortant liv2luv luv2liv,,,SUMMOOO 1 lucky

    there was such a thing of bird impaling a visor of helmetSkydiver Got Hit By A Bird While looking at this picture, one might think that the skydiver who got hit by this Titmouse pulled way too low but he did not! Statistically it's almost impossible, but during a formation jump, a member of the "Fila-Team" from Austria had this dangerous encounter at 5,900 feet. Fortunately, the bird got stuck in the visor of his helmet and only left him with a cut and a black-and-blue eye. As far as we know, such an incident in our sport never was reported before. These birds normally never fly at such a height, and the jumpers assume that the extreme heat of that day caused the bird to get lost on its hunt for insects. So watch out...you'll never know!     uhmm,,jumping with out eye protection,,,is like u sayz riding bike with out,,,,,,,,grinn i also ride a bike(80 sporster) and would not even think about riding without peeper protection,,.......nor boots.......i also must say that i feel safer in the sky then i do on the road..i used to luv getting on my bike and just going,all my toubles went with the wind,,,but since i have been jumping there brings a new meaning to fredom live to luv luv to liv lucky If there are no trials in life,how will u know what is really imprtortant liv2luv luv2liv,,,SUMMOOO 1 lucky

    in my case although it is a smaller canopy,,compared to student gear,,i like it alot better and am finding out that it is a bit diff and have only one stand up landing with it ,,in the target area,,from what i have been told a bigger canopy is good for accuracy,,but then again,, what do i know but what my JM tells me,,he is thinking that i should go for accuracy at this point,,cuz i been doing very good at it so far,,as well as being able to fly pretty good also..heck i only got 15 jumps,,would be intrested in others input also..in the next month i will have to probably downsize again,, to a 150,,gotta watch the winds.. liv to luv live to luv lucky If there are no trials in life,how will u know what is really imprtortant liv2luv luv2liv,,,SUMMOOO 1 lucky

    hi,,,kwell u hittin the peas..i have 15 jumps and i downsized very quickly...in one weekend of jumping i went from a spectrum 190 to a tri 170 which i am 5'2 115lbs,,which is still way underloading but for awhile i am going to stick with the 170..i get pretty close to the peas on most all my landings.. live to luv luv to live lucky If there are no trials in life,how will u know what is really imprtortant liv2luv luv2liv,,,SUMMOOO 1 lucky

    i have been around skydiving for a couple yrs now,,and have been to many DZ's but now that i am skydiving have a whole diff perspective,,and it is good to know that having concerns of going to a diff DZ is normal and that i have alot to look forward too,,got to get out of the puppy pen,, so to speak If there are no trials in life,how will u know what is really imprtortant liv2luv luv2liv,,,SUMMOOO 1 lucky

    thanxs for the welcome.......being JM by my SO has been a good thing,he knows what i am thinking,,and has been a good experience for us both,,he has kept it fun and safe and says that i am progressing very well..got a kiss pass from him on my 15th jump....i am having a blast and wanting to learn,,but find that when i am asked to do something new i got scared,,like when i did my 10 sec delay,,JM said i was ready for 20 sec,,i says noo i wanna do 10 sec again,,needless to say i did the 20 sec and luved it,,did that well and he says u ready to go to altitude,,,noo i says,lol..i did it and did great at it,,but am finding out that the fear is mixed with the excitment and anticipation,,and am finding more and more that it is normal to be scared.. I have been jumping at just one DZ and very soon am going to be introduced to another DZ,,I'm scared,,lol..i need to quit rambling, If there are no trials in life,how will u know what is really imprtortant liv2luv luv2liv,,,SUMMOOO 1 lucky
