I am very sorry to repeatedly post on this topic, but please what web sites have good information on Felix Baumgartner's rigid wings, and similar, and any possible mtorized version of them. I was advised to web search for "Skyray"; which I have now done, and there are so many different sorts of things and people called Skyray that any references to backpack gliding wings were drowned in over 2000 references to irrelevant matter, despite whatever I chose as a second accompanying search term.

My only two cases of depression in the air were caused directly by altitude hypoxia. As the plane came down to land, the drpression went away, and my ears "cleared" repeatedly like in scuba diving - likely the pilot saved bits of money by letting the cabin air pressure get too low.

I have just looked at http://www.felixbaumgartner.com/ and all I get is a fancy graphic. If I click that, I get an empto page. I suspect that acess is via some fancy Java-ery which does not run properly on my computer.

Please whwre can I find more information about the rigid gliding wings that Felix Baumgartner used to glide from Dover to near Calais on 31 July 2003? Please what is the correct forum for such a discussion? I am very sorry if I broke any of dropzone's rules raising this subject.

Where can I find more information about Felix Baumgartner's wingsuit and similar. including pictures? Can suits like this be made with a motor added to allow level flying? In these suits, how are the legs kept straight level backwards to maintain streamlining, instead of trailing downwards at the hip joints? Do they use hip calipers, or what? I see that some members have small pictures (sometimes called "avatars") below their names. How can I set up such an avatar for myself?
