It's a power trip! Money leads to power and when you have money you want more, I imagine power is much the same (generalization here not sayin every man is power or $ hungry). I believe its much the same when dancing and customers ask you what you are doing after work. They assume because you dance you'd go home w. them/be a prostitute. You might also want to try and get in touch w. those who already own mobile facilities to see what they think, would do diff (if anything), how it's going, the frequency of repairs and break downs, what those break downs cost, and how much run time you can get out of a unit. I'm sure you've already done this or thought of it, but just in case Dawn Suiter and Bodyflight.net will be your best resource for finding and speaking w. the right people. She also offers VWT consulting services through Bodyflight Concepts. Hope this helps a little

I'll be doing TPM inductions and flying w. some friends on Sunday the 9th, flying at 2:30pm. We'll arrive at least an hour early. Hope to see you there, would love to meet you. I'll be inducting a little one and they are always so much fun to watch fly. I can't wait till the 14th when I'll be 5 minutes from the tunnel (moving) so I can be there to meet all the visitors that come to play w. us. Right now I'm 45min each way without traffic. As more tunnels have popped up over the country the cost of time has gone up and the average flight time has decreased (see bodyflight.net for some other stats on last year). We experienced a jump from $630 to $700 a peak hour in Orlando in October. Before October, SVO was the cheapest SV tunnel for time. I believe they wanted to test the waters and see if they could charge more like the other facilities. I think they have been successful in their venture even though I can't say I like price hikes for the tunnel or anything in life (even though I know growth and inflation are a reality and not raising price can be an unrealistic expectation). I flew an hour straight not too long ago. No brief, just got in there and worked w. Danager. He's great at in tunnel instruction and b/c he's a manager doesn't have much time for pre briefs. Freefly- back, sit, splits, hd carving. I was working on stability drills (being shaken and pushed while upside down) and improving my bad way of carving. For Tunnel For The Cause we flew 2 hours in a span of 3 hours- hour on hour off, hour on. There were 6 of us doing that and we were whooped since we were freeflying in 97 mph winds lol! In the end the hard work will be worth it. I had an easier time w. TFTC because we don't have weather holds, packing, planes, etc. I don't know how JFTC does it all. If you have any tips after your experience I'd be all ears and appreciative of any advice you'd have to help along TFTC. Please PM if there is anything that you think I might be able to help w.
