I'm starting to get really worried about maybe doing AFF now, /me groans. Will all these things like only tracking perpendicular to flight be taught?? Also, i am perfectedly happy to accept, i think Goeff's comment, but i did think while reading the thread that freeflyers fall quickers and so should go out first, can anyone please explain why they go last? thanx. this forum is so awesome for getting info, ty sangiro! I realise i am prolly not the most interesting person from here to talk to, but i have Omrimon on my icq, and it's wicked talking to other skydivers. I think i could learn a lot just from chatting, i learnt tons from speaking with "Dead Mike" from www.deadmike.com and he's a wicked bloke. I personally think it's a pretty good idea. Makes firstly something to strive for and secondly, when you get it, you are very experienced, and know your shit a lot! whereas "some" (please don't flame me ) people @ 250 jumps won't "know their shit" Ed Edited by hellian on 3/25/01 01:56 PM.

Sounds awesome man. my best jump day had to be my first... cold winter morning, wasn't worried till we kitted up, wow, then it hits you. First jump, just plain fun, second jump, same day, while in plane "why am i doing this again?" Fun, Fun, Fun! Ed

lowest i've been open is 2600' b/c i had a reallllly slow opening off a 5sec delay from 4500'.... but like as said, i would/will have no interested in being open lower that maybe 3500' i mean, how much fun is spiralling! ed

I don't know if anyone here jumps at Headcorn, but about 1.5miles away from the DZ, there's a country house where they keep lions. You can easily see the enclosures when under canopy at about 3k. Now that would be a bad off-landing! Then there's the stream that first time jumpers seem to enjoy... "toggle left,.... toggle lefffft .... TOGGGGLEEEEE LEEEFFFFT " ... splash ... heh
