You both seem to confirm that these are Vectran lines and as we can tell on the pics, there is no way that the lines are brand new!!!! "the original owner" says the canopy has only 10 jumps. What a bunch of crap!!!! Something smells fishy!!!! I asked him to send me a pic of the warning label, which he did, but guess what. The serial number had been deleted (photoshop or what else?) Very srange, isn't it?

Could anyone tell me what type of lines they are ? Can they be pretty new like 10 jumps (????) or much much more ? (I was told that the canopy had only 10 jumps?????)? or? Also, did PD's install Vectran on their Katanas or go straight from microlines to HMA? Thank you

As far as opening, the Vengeance 150. One more rotation above DZ Empuriabrava, and I would have cut away. Same in Gap. Flying and landing it was nice though. His recovery arc was long enough in preparation for the next step i.e Katana.

You pay the 3lbs extra unless you can transfer it to the other bag. Now it's crystal clear. Thank you. I always prefer to take my 20 lb rig as a carry-on, and now have only one luggage (50 lbs maxi) to check in . That way, I may not have to pay extra (?????) depending of course on the rules of each airline.

Wow, what airline is that so I never use it. All the ones I use have a 50pound limit on EACH piece of checked luggage with extra charges for anything over. (United, Alaska, Southwest, US Airways) So you mean that you can have two checked-in luggage with total weight of 100lbs. If one weights 53 lbs and the other 47lbs, then you pay for the 3 lbs extra. Correct? you're alright, Sorry I mixed up pounds and kilos, not quite the same... but we've got the idea now. I also heard that some airlines now make passengers pay extra for the second checked-in luggage. So confusing. The best bet is to check with the airline.

I'm still allowed 2 pieces of checked luggage. anyone what the max size allowed for a checked bag.?? i think I've been told it has to weigh less than 45 lbs. but could i check a big ass empty cooler with like a tent sleeping bag pillow blankets shit like that as long as I kept it under the 45 lb mark??? anyone know off the top of their head? NO. If I recall, each checked-in luggage should not weight more than 22.5 lbs. If it exceeds it even just for one lb , then you have to pay extra. The 45 lb mark is for the total weight of the two luggage. If you have only one luggage which weights over 22.5 to 45lbs, they will make you pay extra. Tricky, isn't it? On my last trip, I have one Dakkine split luggage which allowed me to balance the weight ( this luggage was designed for that purpose )The airline company twas trying to make me paid for an extra pound in one luggage. Compagnies may have different lbs mark. check with them. I also heard that some companies make you pay now for the second checked-in luggage

Actually I meant " packed for months...." The grommets are the brass ones....

and the deterioration of the rubber bands? and chemical reaction in contact with some type of grommets in dbags. It happened to me. after leaving my main canpy unpacked for months. Glad I repacked it before jumping again. I could have had a hard-opening or a locked d-bag.

Maybe a new size like a V307 (length 16/17 maxi)would fit nicely a Velocity 111 , Katana 120 and PDR113 or Optima 126. What container's sizes would you suggest otherwise ? The troublemaker

A Stiletto 120 looks pretty tight in a V306. I was told that the Stiletto has about the same pack volume as the Katana. Maybe the Katana packs a little smaller? Also, would a Velo 111 fit into a V306????? I doubt but I still want to ask.

Any release of a new intermediate size between the V306/V308: THE V307 , would be greatly appreciated!!!

That's right. V348 fits 170,150 sized mains and 160 sized reserves. I made +/-1300 jumps with this bullet- proof container which was still like brand-new when I sold it and then bought another Vector for downsizing reason. Mark, you know more than I do now
