OK, I read just the first line & already I can see that the correct-or needs some correct-ing. Verbs HAVE to agree with their subjects. HAVE ... HAVE ... say it with me ... "HAVE". Thank-you. Yay! Now I'm not the only one who didn't read the whole thing before posting a correction. Read the whole thing, and then delete your post O'well, at least we're paying attention ... right?

Thanks for the insight on this book. From the summary you included it looks like it may not be the best book for my situation ... I've done all these things: "direct communication, respect, appreciation, food, and good loving." Hmmmm, anyone know of any better relationship/psychology books out there?

Wow, awesome advice ... from everyone including those who PM'd me.

In a nutshell; been married 9 years, have 2 kids (ages 5 & 3). Begged & pleaded for my husband to initiate sex/intimate relationship so many times I can't see straight. I finally make up my mind that I deserve better so I decide to leave WY & go back home to FL & he finally decides to wake-up. In the past, he's said he'd work on this problem but things only changed for a few months then went right back to the way they were. I will have to admit, it does seem he's genuinely interested in making the change this time but I'm afraid of letting him have another chance ... I'm not sure if my heart has such a high wall up now that he'll never be able to make it right. So one part of me says go now while my stuff is all packed & I've got a job lined up ... & the other part of me says I can't leave this commitment if he's willing to try. What'cha think?
-
**sniff, sniff** I'll try.

Damn, I haven't been around the threads in months & I STILL have the knack for killin'em. Well, at least I haven't lost my touch!

Dagny, I have total respect for you regarding your reply to Tuna planet. You went beyond focusing on the statements themselves & saw the walls Tuna planet was talking to us through ... you're understanding & compassion re-enforces the reason for you posting this thread to begin with. You obviously have a heart of gold.

In Tuna's defense in respect to the above statements: I was reading an article in the local paper the other day, a "Dear Abby" type column if you will. The topic was that of cheating & why some do it. It was noted several times that victims of sexual abuse before the age of 12 find themselves cheating in fantastic relationships. Some even told about being raised in a family where a parent cheated & they now find themselves repeating the pattern. Justifiable or not, people have cheated on spectacular S/O due to very unhealthy experiences in their life & not against the person they're currently married to/dating. Getting to the defense part: Tuna, & men in general, may treat their woman the best they know how & still become a victim of infidelity. Think of it, if what was said is true, statistically most victims of sexual abuse at an early age are females. And of those little girls who have been molested the largest majority were done so by their step-fathers. Wrong or right they have pre-programmed unhealthy views of trust & sex. By Tuna's statement it's undeniable that a pattern's developing in his relationships. But it may have a lot more to do with the women he attracts/attracted to than how he's treating them.

I second that ... ummmm, OK Yeah, not so funny.

The policeman's name is Dick Cottam ... pronounced Caught'em!?!?! Dick? Cottam? Streakers? BWHAHAHAHA ... yeah ... ummmm ... ok. Well, it was funny in my mind.
-
OK, does anyone find this particularly amuzing ... or am I the only one with a mind so warped I found this to be ironic & freaking hilarious: "... police spokesman Dick Cottam ...." RAFLMAO
-
That is a freaking riot!! I love it!! I don't want to know your name ....

Dude! You took the words right outta' my mouth!!!

Prescription Drugs.... are you paying too much? !

Angela, I totally got the point of this thread ... I just think there's been so many debates lately in some of the other threads, me included, that some are just trigger happy. Never mind them. I'm gonna bookmark Costco now in my favorites so if I, or anyone else in my family, needs some prescriptions filled I can I look there first for a price then shop around. I love saving money & I can only spend so much time doing research ... if Costco is selling all generic prescriptions at a lower price, like they did yours, you can bet I'll be buying from them ... and I'll have you to thank for passing along the info. Thanks Baby!! You're The Best!!! -
Wow, what a sobering event. My condolences & )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))BIG HUGS((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( to you through this time of loss. You're absolutely right ... I'm bummed that we sometimes have to suffer a loss to remember stuff like this. Thanks for reminding me. Take care .... XOXOXOXOXOX

Check out the Bill of Rights here: http://memory.loc.gov/const/bor.html Hmm, for those to lazy to click: " Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Note, bold added by me To me Amendment I has nothing to do with Bush's proposal. First, "respecting" can be redifined as "concerning" ... so it may better be understood like this: Congress shall make no law concerning an establishment of religion. This to me means that Congress can't pass a law concerning religion which is exactly why America was founded. The citizens did not want to be told what they could or could not do religiously. Secondly, Bush is giving some money to the churches ... no where is he trying to pass a law about it. Besides, Since the 1930s, the Federal Government has been providing income or services, often called a "safety net," for those in need. Churches do more than teach religion on Sundays. Many of them also educate America's children & some provide a safe harbor & counseling to people in need.

Why haven't GWB supporters made a big stink about this yet?

Got'cha, I'm following ya now & completely agree. Thanks. -
That's so cool & nerve racking all rolled into one ... I couldn't even begin to imagine!
-
Allow me to add that of course I couldn't even muster up enough courage to like say "hi" to him or anything. Duh!? I mean it would've been as akward as coming face to face with Tom Cruise. HUGE smile, shakey hands & wouldn't be able to, for the life of me, think of anything intelligent to say ... then I'd walk away saying to my self he must think I'm a huge dork. So I didn't risk it ... just stared at "his" name on my computer screen mesmorized with I dorky smile on my face. Man, before now Jack was the only who'd heard that story.

RALMFAO! I can completely relate but from the other side of the fence. I was working on the weekends packing tandems for Skydive Santa Barbara. At this point I had only done 1 tandem 2 years prior but as a military cargo Rigger I pack rounds & wanted to learn about squares so the DZ Rigger agreed to teach me. He often mentioned the name "Bill Booth" throughout my training. Well, about 4 months later, when I was still so young & innocent on dropzone.com I was checking out "who's online" & I saw it!! I saw his name!! Bill Booth was online at dropzone.com!! I wanted to poop my pants!! I was certain the Rigger Gods had parted the clouds & were smiling down on me. At that moment I too had the feeling of just meeting Tom Cruise. I was still so exstatic about seeing "his" name on dz.com I had to tell Jack (the dz Rigger) who found my excitement so amuzing he just laughed.

If it were me I'd present the email & question right to PayPal & ask them if there's anyway possible that this guy could pull a fast one on you since it seems to good to be true. The PayPal Customer Service Dept will know better than anyone if there's a way to cheat the system as well as be able to offer you some precationary steps. Not as a seller, but as a buyer, I encountered a bad deal. I had a false sense of security concerning ebay & paypal. I found out real fast that ebay does not involve themselves at all in disputes & PayPal can was a little better but not by much. This probably won't help in your situation but for the refrence of anyone else who encounters a problem here's some agencies that actually helped: Internet Fraud Complaint Center - this one is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). National Fraud Information Center - this one contacts the police depts of the involved parties
