Well, I'm interested in your opinion if you're willing to state it. Sure, why not. In my opinion someone should be able to jump with a camera before 200 jumps if they are properly trained. It depends on the individual. I started jumping a camera when I had just over 100 jumps. Most of my videos were not that great in the beginning because I was focused on the jump and NOT getting distracted by the camera.

What about the thirteen year old child in Utah that agrees to be married to her fifty year old uncle? She may know what she is doing and her parents may give her permission, yet society has regonized that some decisions are not to be left to a child, regardless of what the parents think. Wow. Why would you be OK with that? If someone makes 1000 jumps their first year, at some point they had less than 200 and you would now change your recommendations because of what they will do in the future? As for close supervision and mentoring, you can get that if you make 100 or 1000 jumps per year. You just have to seek it. The point you are trying to make certainly conflicts with your recommendations.

Otherwise would we be required to have on board oxygen above 15 k or if we're a half hour at 10k? You can be above 12500 but below 15000 for 30 minutes without oxygen, above 15000 requires immediate oxygen to satisfy FAA requirements. The actual time of useful consiousness is way above that, in the twenty minute range at 20000 for most people. Close but not quite. The oxygen requirements are for pilots and necessary flight crew. It does not apply to passengers. The only requirement for passengers is that is is made available, not required to use. Also the useful time of consciousness at 20,000 feet is closer to 10 minutes or less, depending on the individual.

I posted something similar quite a while back but it was met with opposition. I doubt anyone that went in was doing something they love just before impact.

Unfortunately listing a percentage does not tell the true story. Overall fatalities were down but landing accidents remained about the same. By using a percentage instead of an actual number it may appear as there was a huge spike in landing accidents. But that just isn't true. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be the objective to reduce landing fatalities. Just trying to be honest about the numbers.

I don't wish it was one way or another. I believe that it should be and makes more sense the way I have described. Whether you "wish it was one way" or "believe that it should be" does not change the reality of how it actually works. There are rules and laws I disagree with but wishing or believing it should be different does not change the rule or law.

As stated . the invasion of Afghanistan was planned well in advance of 9-11 by members of the oil cartels and the American military/ industrial complex.The bankers ,of course have a major role also as they do in every war. Those who have enlisted in the military are but pawns. They generally are idealists who don't understand the deciet they have been subject to.
