Right man, I rather have a parent blow a few cigarettes in to their daughters face then have them go through that shit. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

No its not. The worst child abuse that is rampant now days is making “your” little shit think he/she is the center of the universe. I can think of so many things that supposed good parents do every day that are worst then a little smoke. Narcissism is bad for the whole race. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

I have not jumped in years 2.5 I believe. Had to sell all my stuff, but now want to start jumping again. I saw this add here and they say they rent full systems. Anyone use this service? If so what are your thoughts? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

You are the Juror. George Zimmerman trial
Darius11 replied to wayneflorida's topic in Speakers Corner
I don’t think I would follow a stranger I am sure I don’t know everyone, and everyone’s possible guest so most people would be a stranger to me. How many people did this guy follow every night? Maybe I don’t know the facts to this case; did he see TM commit a crime? Why would the police show up? Last I checked this was America and I could walk on any street I wanted. What would the police do tell you not to walk here because you’re a stranger? Or did he see him commit a crime? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -

My .02 Guilty for one reason and one reason only. He followed the person he shot. There was no one crying for help he just decided this kid looks like trouble. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
I am in the NY area. Why you trying to find him? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Yep to me it’s all ridiculous, no Different then the DOMA that everyone made a big deal about. These are things that government should have stayed the fuck away from to begin with so any victory is not really a victory in my eyes. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

If the ten commandments was not there they would have no reason to put their bench so it seems there only motivation was spite. So what’s next can ever different religion put a monument up in front? If that’s the case you might need some climbing gear to get to the door. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Now that’s retarded on so many levels! I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

The easiest way is not with tanks on the boarders, but with enforcement of the law. Fine and jail anyone who hires illegals. The reason we have illegals is people mostly white upper class citizens give them jobs and never really get punished. Kill the source then there is no reason to come. Also deport illegals if they come back deport them again. Simple as that. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
-
I honestly don't get the argument on this one. I am as far right on this one as you can go. Every country will kick out people who break the law and unlawfully enter their country. For many reasons other then racism. Logical reasons. Safety, control of diseases, knowing who the fuck is coming inn. I don't get anyone who thinks we should have open boarders, and that's the alternative to not enforcing the law. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Turtle I am curios Do you believe the government should have anything to do with marriage? I should have asked you that first. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Excellent point I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

First I agree with you. However what most people object to at least in my experience is derived from believing marriage is a religious institute Now we know from history that marriage is older than the 3 religions, however I don’t think most people believe that, and that’s where we have an issue. FYI- I will be getting married this year as well, not for any other reason than me and my SO well save lots of money and be protected by law. Nether I or she wants a ceremony of any type. We might make our own like a scuba trip or something. :) Edite to add( we obviously love each other and have for the last decade, just didn't believe marriage means anything) not that anyone gives a shit :) I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
-
Do you have a definitive source for that? No I do not, however I have yet to see a weeding without some religious ceremony. Do you have a definitive source as to where marriage began? I know the idea is ancient before Jesus, Moses, or Mohammad. But not sure if anyone knows for sure. I do think even the ancient weddings were based on the religion of the time place and people. Would you agree that in this country and many others Marriage is a religious institute? For the record again I do not care who marries who as long as we are talking about adults, and by adults I mean old enough to know I don’t think 18 is magical number for all. I am simply trying to understand if I can see someone else’s view point because I have had a few friends surprise me with objections to allowing gays to marry. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Giving them(gays) rights to call their union marriage violates what religions says is marriage. The reason we have such a thing as marriage to begin with is religion. I think I get it. I truly do believe Marriage should not be something the government should interfere with in any way. It does get weird when a religious idea becomes part of the law. It’s lacking rational. It’s either religious or its not and I do believe marriage is at its root a traditional idea based in religion. Now personally I don’t think it’s should be a government institutions to begin with, but I do get what you mean.....i think. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

I think what turtle means is this was like a club that only allowed straight members in, and that’s what made this club different Straights ONLY. Now the courts said you have gay members in as well therefore the club no longer is what it used to be because the definition has changed. Did i kind of get it Turtle? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

I pretty sure I know how to make very affordable electrical energy, massive amount of it with no negative environmental effects. However the system will cost big money! mind you big money for my standards very little money for a corporation standards. But if i explain it i lose the idea. My dream is work on all the ideas one day when i can have a house and a shop in the back. We will see. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Exoneree Faces Ex-Wife in Compensation Lawsuit
Darius11 replied to ryoder's topic in Speakers Corner
If she is owed compensation then that should come from the state, not from him. Her injury is separate from his. His compensation was for his injury. It was not wages or anything of the sort. I Concede to you sir your point and view is more on point then mine. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -

Exoneree Faces Ex-Wife in Compensation Lawsuit

She should get the money whatever it comes to for a years time X 9 x .5. So she gets half of what he would have gotten for the nine years she stayed with her man. Cool case would love to see what they rule. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
This is what I THINK Happened. Short version SPITE longer version below: I think he joined like most young kids do with the very idealistic views where he thought he was helping spread democracy, were the good guys blah blah blah. You get the image I am painting no more detail needed. I believe when he saw and read some of the information he was able to he noticed and maybe felt like he was lied to. Now usually people who are totally on one side make a drastic move if it is founded that what they beloved in was horse shit. Maybe he thought were all bad and its all bad so he is going all in . Kind of like he did when he first joined up. I have seen so many people in life who act the same way. It takes them a while to realize the truth is usually not so clear cut as they wish it to be. So they go from one extreme to another. How many people you know who were fucking out of control and then became ultra religious or the other way around? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
