It might be a culture thing too bro. My mom bugged me for grand kids for a long time. She finally gave up knowing that it was not phase i really did not want kids. I don't want kids, but a lot of that has to do with my life and where i am at. First gen. Mike you do realize that it was not the people who signed the loans that resold those loans over and over again right? You do realize that these were systems particularly set up by the banks and bankers so they can make more money ? I have no issue if they want to take more risk and make more money, however the problem occurs when its our money. I am saying there is a lot wrong, but the bonuses is much like a ginat fuck you. Have no clue where you got that one, but i will try again. Me personly would love it if they left me alone. I belive there was a huge injustice (injustice the people who comited the crime, did the deed, were reponcible did not pay for their actions) and other were asked to pay the price. I think that’s where the root of our disagreement is at. I don’t think it was just people doing their jobs. I believe they set up systems to misrepresent the value of the products they offered so they could make more money. To me that’s a white-collar crime at minimum. Their greed is what led us down this path. Was their wrong regulation? IMO Yes but it was their greed that lead to the TARP bail out that they received with no strings attached. That’s another time that i was surprised that people were not screaming “are you fucking kidding me?” I have no issue with people making money, I like making money. However I do have an issue when companies misrepresent their products so they can show more value, I have a problem when companies decides to take risks any high or low that I might have to end up paying for them. I am not saying I am the only on with a valid point. But when I say that the economy is fucked or many people have been fucked in the last two years I expect most of you to know what I am talking about. It gets very frustrating when people seem to focus on picking you a part instead of contributing. My viewpoint is coming from frustration. I try to put my self in the shoes of a guy who is a worker (someone willing to work not lazy), and skilled. Now believe it or not there were a lot of people effected who didn’t buy expensive homes, who didn’t but a big TV on a credit card. Basically a lot of people who really had nothing to do with any of this were effected. It is surprising for me that someone with a family and kids who sees this and at the same time cant feed their kids has not lost their fucking mind when they hear about what’s happening with these bonuses. I am mad but i don;t think the banks are the wrong poeple to be mad at i think there are more then just the banks but they are sure at fault as well.
