  1. Honestly man talk about reaching. So sending our troops to die in Iraq for a lie is ok? Or wanting to continue it for another 100 years if it takes that long is good for the troops? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  2. I am not saying that’s a great indicator of experience either, however someone mentioning how many days they have worked in the government is more relevant then the distance of your state from a foreign country would you not agree? I find it an insult to my intelligence when that argument is made. So I guess only people from the East Coast should be selected to deal with Europe because we are closer. Sorry I feel dumber just for repeating that logic. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zP8uFPWxaA All I know is living close to Russia does not equal having foreign policy experience, and its not just her it seems as if the McCaine camp actually want us to think that is a legitimate argument. I find that simply sad, not only does it show the Mccain/Palin camps stupidity it also suggest that they believe there followers are just as dim. I have not yet seen one person who didn’t see or hear that argument and not laugh their asses off. It is simply a ridiculous assumption, and if it was said once ok but they are trying to make a legitimate case for it. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  4. I doubt any are as stupid as saying that because you can see Russia from an island in your state you will be able to deal with Russia better. Any one can make a mistake in a speech but to be using this as a platform is idiotic. As i said before above. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  5. Like? I doubt any are as stupid as saying that because you can see Russia from an island in your state you will be able to deal with Russia better. Any one can make a mistake in a speech but to be using this as a platform is idiotic. It is turly sad that you can not see this or choose not to see it. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  6. You know you are getting really good at making unrelated dumb posts. It seems you have changed your style of debate to none specific banter. I understand why because if you try to think of the situation like her statement about living close to Russia even you would have to admit it’s ridiculous. At least I hope that’s the case. Or do you agree with her? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  7. I am sorry man, there is just no way I can take anyone who thinks living next to Russia gives her foreign policy experience to deal with the Situation there seriously, and I questions any one who does. I understand she might bring something’s to the table (I have not seen them just assuming here). The bad or what I view as being bad, the comment above, her stance on abortion, Her stance on abstinence only education, Her stance on evolution, Etc. (there is more) Each one of those things is enough for me to think she is nut case. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  8. Irrational fear??? No I am very rationally afraid. Any VP who answers this “Pressed about what insights into recent Russian actions she gained by living in Alaska, Palin told Charles Gibson of ABC News” She says “"They're our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska." “ Are you fucking kidding me? I thought this was a slip by Mrs. Mccaine, but it seems that they are using this as an actual strong point for her. The stupidity of such a statement is too much to take, specially now that it seems it is being used as a platform. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  9. Yea because thats really hard to do. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  10. I have faith, not blind faith. I understand you do not have blind faith either thats good. However if the question is asked and she does say she believes in creationism would that be enough for you to question her judgment? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  11. I think most intelligent people accept everyone in that they have the right to be who they are as long as it does not harm other peoples rights. However you point out great problem. When someone is running for the top job the most important JOB in the country i actually would want someone exceptional and not someone average that i can have a beer with. That's the difference it seems I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  12. Well, I don't give a shit about him saying things he has no knowledge of, but I think we can all agree that he IS a successful person in Hollywood and probably can recognize the plot of a bad movie. Just think of the last one. The recovering drug addict who has failed at every thing comes back to save America..........except in the real world it does not end like the movies. I bet there are people who think this is a movie they sure vote like it. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  13. With out taking McCain's age in to consideration statistically speaking there is a 20% chance. When you do consider Senator McCain's age, health, and though life i think it would be logical to think the percentage would be even higher. For me .0001% is enough not to ever have a religious zealot in the highest of office of the US. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  14. Yea i am not one to give a shit what a celebrity says either but he has a valid point. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  15. You know people go back and forth in every thread about her. i wish i could ask her a few questions. I would like to ask her. Do you believe in the evolution? if she says no she is nuts. If she can not take a body of facts and come to a rational decision then i don't want her. That's MHO Off course if she did say no i would ask her what she thinks of fossils? I would love to hear her true response What would your reaction be? If she does not believe in the theory of evolution is that enough to call a crazy religious person? i really would love to hear from my Republican friends who do believe in the theory of evolution, and do not think fossils were put here by god a few thousand years ago to test our faith ,basically the sane ones. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  16. Dude I just looked at the whole thread I did not see you replay to me once other then the one I am replying to right now. So no questions were asked of me my friend. Just the facts I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  17. I know Bill posted it. Thats why you said Bill below. If you do you are a bigger man then many who share your view points I am sorry I did not see you ask me any questions, I will look back and if you did I will gladly answer. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  18. What is a short time? Also does a persons significant other have more influence and give a better understanding to who a person is or just a reverend can do that? My problem is the hypocrisy. I can’t understand how such hypocrites can even look at them selves in the mirror with out some sort of feeling of pain in their gut. That’s what I find most frustrating. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  19. Ok so So now do you admit you are wrong, or just keep on fighting the none factual fight? Sorry to pick on you but there is a pattern. People fight and fight to say what is being said is wrong. Then you show proof of a valid source that no you are right and they are wrong. You would think a rational person would admit their mistake and maybe even change their mind considering it was based on wrong information. Off course that’s what a rational person would do. What we have seen is a twist and back to the same blind faith tactics. When does this shit get old? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  20. This is a conversation from another thread. It is relevent to the discussion so i want your opnion on it. Why is her patriotism not being questioned? Obamas reverend has a rant criticizing the US and it is talked about for weeks even months, yet she was a supporter of a group who is for secession yet that’s considered patriotic? That is my problem as of late with the republican party, they don’t even stand for what they stand for. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  21. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Exactly so why are their still people who claim that they do and that’s why they are voting for them? I just don’t get it. It has been going on long enough for there to be a clear history of whom spends more. This is the greatest magic trick ever and still works. Lets claim we do something and consistently do the opposite. I just can’t believe people have not caught on yet. I don’t get how Reverend Wright gets played for two weeks straight yet this doesn’t even get mentioned. I agree that it is not a republican issue but I just think I should say I just know that if the shoe was on the other foot the Election would be over for Obama. The Repub. now act like teen pregnancy is cute. I just don’t understand how they can even take them selves seriously anymore. I am just disgusted, I feel that we talk more about important facts on DZ.com then the news covers. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  22. I was basically fully sure I wanted Ron Paul, then was undecided between Obama/McCaine. After McCaine made his VP choice I was sure that’s what I did not want. There is a 20% chance that the VP will become president even more considering McCains health and age. I can not see the United States of America led by a person who has all the signs of religious fundamentalist. There are many more reasons to not vote for her but that one is enough for me. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  23. You know Bill there are times I get why the other side fights their fight. Yet there are times I just don’t get it. This is one of them. Republican is supposedly small government. That has not been the case the past 8 years and not the case for Ms. Palin. She tripled her town budget. They talk about patriotism, Correct me if I am wrong but is her husband not one who has been in favor of secession. Was she not quoted as welcoming the party for secession and saying keep up the good work? The same group who says they hate the US government? I mean if we are going to give Obama Preacher crap for criticizing the US should we not at least ask her Husband what his plans were? Oh yea she will not answer any questions. Fear from exposing the truth is not a good sign. Family values- Until we saw Ms. Plain 17 year old daughter have a baby out of wedlock I don’t think the republican’s thought it was so cute. Again I wonder what would have been said if Obama had a 17 year pregnant daughter? I just don’t get it. She does not seem to fit the republican platform (Other then the few physco religious), I know that platform has been convoluted for a long time now. Why not try to get it right instead of blindly fighting for someone who does not even represent the parties main selling point, Small government. I can honestly say I had always thought John Mccain would be a good choice, now I can’t even take the party seriously. I am not a democrat don’t even agree with Obama that much, but I have lost all respect for the republican party. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  24. like what? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
  25. I agree with you, It is just extra hard when the party that has been so in to people personal lives all of a sudden claims that it is off limits. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
