Terrorist? What defines a person as a terrorist?
Darius11 replied to Darius11's topic in Speakers Corner
Wow- You know I want to disagree with you on this so bad. I really do but I can’t which makes it even more difficult to understand right and wrong. I guess we are all truly selfish beings. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
Terrorist? What defines a person as a terrorist?

I agree so is it just a matter perspective? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
Any one see it or read about it? From what i have seen and read it basicly more proof that we were lied too about the war in Iraq. The decision was made and the facts were bent to fit that decision. (Some thing most of us knew, but few still didn’t) Can anyone support this administration and still be considered logical, rational, moral, ethical, or even patriot? Is what the administration did high high-treason? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Terrorist? What defines a person as a terrorist?
Darius11 replied to Darius11's topic in Speakers Corner
That’s what the dictionary defines it as. Here is my concern we tend to say so and so is a terrorist or this person supports terrorism mainly because we hear them described that way. So for the purpose of not being another sheep (we have enough off those) what does it mean when we say terrorist? What I find confusing is when you try to define it for exp. as People who kill civilians? People who target civilians? People who brake international law? It seems a lot of the people pointing the finger have more blood on their hands then the people they are pointing too. So with out mentioning actual terrorist organization or people that you think are terrorist. What defines someone as a terrorist to you? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -

Is it possible to have sex with one person for the rest of your life?

Honestly you are so over the top that I don’t know if I should even take your posts seriously but if you are serious here is where I stand (doesn’t mean its where others should stand) Sex and intimacy are not always present at the same time. Sex is an action, a release, a need. The intense feelings you develop for someone after you have known them for some times and when love develops is much more gratifying for me then a one night stand. The best sex (again in my opinion) is with your partner that you feel so much emotion for that you wish you could live under her skin just to be closer to her. A one-night stand has the emotional attachment of jerking off. For me developing strong feeling requires comitment for some it does not, and then there ones that don't even care to have such a connection. For me the experience and the joy of loving someone that much far outweigh the need to be with someone new. I think its great that you know you can not be with one person and you are open about it. That should save a lot of people hearth ache and honesty is always the best policy. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain -
Ocean. When the waves and that cold water hits me I feel so alive and instantly happy. I can’t remember once in my life where I was unhappy to be in, on, or under the ocean. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

I saw your post last night. It was almost weird. I have been going through the same thought process for months now. I will not be able to jump at all this year (Financial/Job issues) and could use the money my gear would get me for bills and living. It is so hard for me to bring my self to put the gear up for sell. I don’t know why but I have an attachment to it. I am also afraid that if I sell it I might never be in the position to afford it again. Hearing a lot of people say they have had to do the same thing has made the decision easier yet I still have not made the decision. I have no idea why this is so difficult. It’s like trying to sell a puppy dog that you really love. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Growing up In Iran and moving back and forth most of my life I understand what you mean. It is hard to find what is normal for you or me. In my experience I just finally gave up trying to be in an American relationship or an Iranian one. I just figured out what I as an individual want. It was not easy to find someone who agreed with me but I did find her. We both love each other and are fully committed yet we do not believe in cohabitation, marriage, and we both don’t want children. Off course there is a lot more to being in love with someone then that but as the relationship develops you want to make sure beforehand that you have the same ideas and goals. to do that you must be sure or have a good idea of what you want. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

You often seem to have relationship issues and questions. We all do not trying to pick on you (as I have asked my fair share of questions) but ever try staying single for some time? It is ok to be single. Once you can find happiness by your self and realize it is not another person or love that makes you happy it is much easier to actually have a good relationship. Most important is knowing what is a good relationship for you as we all want different things. Good Luck I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Good for you. I think that’s a great idea not for religious reasons but just to value your self and the act of being intimate. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

A quick question. Is it actually safer? I have seen Plum Island at least a 100 times crossing from East Long Island to New London by ferry. If a vile of some deadly desise or hoove and mought is exposed to the outside air will the salt water destroy it? Or will it flot with the air and get on the main land anyway? If anyone has been to Plum Island they know it is not some island that is in the middle of the Atlantic but very close I would say within a few miles of shore. So is salt water a good barrier? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

The reality is that Skydiving is much more dangerous then driving a car IMHO. I know a lot more people who drive then Skydive yet a lot more skydivers end up getting killed or hurt. I always try to make people understand that Skydiving is magical. I still can’t put my mind around it. It is a great feeling but i also let people know there is a real risk. If I know the current numbers I tell them and remind them that the numbers are fatalities and do not include injured. Give the people the correct information let them make the decision. The last thing I would want in my head is me telling a friend that it is safer then riding a bike and have them get hurt or worst killed. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Hey guys did anyone take the man card jokes as a serious thing? I always assumed it was a joke anyway. Isn’t this like talking about why the chicken decided to cross the road and what it means if she did? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Hey Maxx. Like others said it is a great game but no BASE. If you like First person shooters get COD 4 as well. IMHO it is the best FPS made. I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Trust me when I say you or any one who has supported this administration, and some who continue to support it should not even think of the word credibility. To think they should be who determines who is and is not credible is just ridicules. Nothing personal against you but denying the facts has been the party line for the past 8 years. Link please I never stated that Hexbollah was a charity organization or claimed that everyone in Lebanon is in love with Hezbolah. I am sure there are people for it and against it like any thing else. All I stated was that we should look at what we have done before we point the finger. We tend to forget how many lives have been lost because of our FP. Iran supports hezbolah, we supported Osama Binladin off course you excuse that because it was convenient or the right thing to do for us. That’s where I think there is a disconnect. I think some of you believe that the right thing for America is always the RIGHT THING to do and often its not. Often it drastically effects the lives of others and an often end peoples lives. Yet the same action even to a much lesser degree is condemned when it is not us doing it. Is that not the definition of hypocrisy? I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
