Hi Thankyou everyone! Skydivers are the best people! I think I have decided to start in Cape Cod, and try the DZs there then New England Skydiving on the border of New Hampshire and MAine, then go abck through NY to Canada...Burnaby, then Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, I am not sure after that for a bit and then I know Idaho, Oregon (I love Mollala prettiest place I have ever jumped) Not sure if I will go up to WA but eventually I know I will make it to LA and Elsinor. Maybe a place or two in AZ. Then go back up across the middle. Gonna be at Rantoul of course. While I am up north .. Wanna go to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP and perhaps Yosemite too on the way down to LA. Now this is all provided my car will make it and that I can pick up some Shiatsu and Yoga Clients along the way to help fund... www.skyspirityoga.com (read about Shiatsu...it feels great!) And if I do find a place to hang all summer, so it goes... it is all good! Oh yeah.. not sure.. how do you hijack someone's thread!????? Hi, I am jumping in my car and going west DZ by DZ, Been in the sport for 2 years, 221 jumps and looking to pull the rug out from under my life and reach out into the more exspansive world than my little corner of NY. What DZ are you a part of? Where are you located? What else do you do beside skydive? Looking to be challenged, make connections and be free! Wow! Here we go....... I know this is not the exact right place to begin a converstation about freestyle, but it certainly fits here more than in the RW section. I am just curious if there are many out there that are interested or that are doing it at the current time. I am a die hard yoga fan and have seen some amazing stuff on video for freestyle. I soooo fell in love with the idea of doing it. So far I have seen Mike Michigan and a few other videos of people doing freestyle and I am wondering if there is any one else you DZ.com folk could recommend for me to research. Also any good coaches I can seek out in the future? Let me know ....would love to hear "Blow wind come wrack, at least we'll die with harness on our back." William Shakespeare

Indeed, we are relieved as well. It was a great day! I got the whole thing on video. It is really quite amazing to see Robert White work. He has been doing since he was 8 years old....bless his heart. I hope the canopy is well too, and most of all SAFE!!!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! So It is I, the mad chopper!!!!!!!! Anyone have gear I can borrow? (sinister laugh) NO but seriously folks........ There was never a question in my mind that I would replace Heather B's Canopy. She said Jokingly, of course, when I was going to jump it " You chop it you buy it" I thought that was fair! So I jumped it. I have enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to this very moment. I really needed to chop...no question... There was a spit second that I thought. "Oh shit this ain't my shit" But I like myself to much to have considered fighting a losing battle any longer. It felt good and right to get rid of it. I have NOO REGRETS. This has taught me many wonderful lessons. RESPONSIBILITY. I think of it this way...what if I did consider that it was hers and tried to save it ( that would be stupid) and died trying. How would she feel? She would have a canopy but no Skyspirit and she would feel horrible. But now she has no canopy because I took Responsibility for myself FIRST. Because I took care of me, NOW I can take care of her. I think this is a hugely valuable lesson for life. So many people think they can take care of everyone else and never even look to see what they need first, then every thing falls apart. If I didn't chop then I wouldn't be here to care for anyone. The Canopy Finders are on the case. NO luck yet. My other thought of the day is........... The canopy had some energy about it and had to be chopped 4 times now.....in 250 jumps.... Perhaps it is better off where no one can jump it. In a way for Heather B's sake I am happy to have been the sacrifice. NOw she gets to go canopy shopping for something new and great and that is a fun thing!!!!!!!! YAHOO Sure it hurts my wallet but it is only money.... I am happy to be here to be able to do it for her. Things that seem bad aren't always bad!!!! I have also learned how loving the skydiving community is. Everyone is invested in my safety, Heather's, and if we found the canopy..... People want to help... she has something to jump for the meantime. People are wonderful.... I do not feel as bad for us as I do for the folks at Elsinor......I guess my only regret now is that I don't have any extra to send their way.... Peace BE WELL
