  2. what main are you jumping? are you sure you know what a soft opening is? the reason i ask is, i use to have a canopy.. it slammed open all the time, then after opening i had to slide the leg straps down to make the pain from the opening less...i thought this was normal... then i bought a spectre..... no pain... same rig....
  3. i remember a discussion when the court ruled... thats the only reason i knew about the case... later tony

  5. appears to be very minor damage.. air bag deployments are violent, loud...people have been killed by the bags... its much better to repair the bumper fascia, rad, hood...etc... then for the bags to go off for a minor accident and have to replace the bags and the dash... which might make it a total.... also some models have impact sensors in the front along with the control module and some have a control module only.... i believe yours only has an air bag module... the sensor monitors crash frequency... i met a guy at school who used a cordless impact to remove the module and set off both bags just from the vibration.... tony
  6. so when you lay the canopy out, flat pack style, wouldnt it be easy to see 6" of differential? tony

  9. ..."The use of Scotchgard® brand fabric protector has become commonplace in recent years. This fabric treatment seals the pores of the fabric against dirt and other stains. Scotchgard® is NOT a magical “silver bullet” against dirt. However, it has shown good results in keeping lighter colored fabric cleaner longer under normal use. Grinding in on grass or asphalt or other heavy abuse will still stain and/or damage the rig materials. Scotchgard® is not harmful to today’s container fabrics such as para-pak and Cordura®. There are currently several Scotchgard® formulas. The standard fabric and upholstery formula is in the RED CAN [Figure A]. Do not use the rug and carpet formula in the blue can. After the rig is completely dry, hang it in a well ventilated location. FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS ON THE CAN, apply the protector to the entire OUTER SURFACE of the rig. For those areas such as the inside of the leg pads, backpad, and bottom of the main container, and light colored panels such as white, etc., apply a second coat after the first has dried. Do not intentionally spray the hardware, housings, and clear vinyl CYPRES® window. After the rig has dried, it may then be reassembled and placed back into service." From the Riggers handbook.... dont think its a uv, but it is a fabric treatment...tony

  11. wow, at least he used good judgement about not going near the natural pace maker... i was worried about this myself.... cant believe all that happened..... the first one was so easy for you... i guess the bata blockers for life is better than a pace maker.... i bet he was freaking out for 4 hours... sorry it went so bad.... thanks for the update... tony
  12. i ordered a custom rig, mlw was too long, scared me when the chest strap slammed my chin on opening. i keep it real tight.. i called and said i need the chest strap moved down... they said no you need the mlw shorter... took pictures with the rig on and it came back with the proper fit....tony
  13. well i have found the problem, again its my dell monitor card slot.... i went into info on the cx7 and it said 4 gigs.... reformatted in in the camera and it said 8 gigs... put it in the card slot of my monitor and it says " not formatted" after many hours of searching i found this on wiki web site... Note: the card reader on this monitor does not support Sony Memory Stick Pro or Pro Duo cards without the use of an adaptor (Sony 8Gb memory sticks duo are not recognized). SDHC is not supported. Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dell_2407WFP" used another card reader and it sees all 8 gigs... thaks for all the help...tony

  20. i just had it done last month. mine was 270bpm but never happened during jumping... at work and out to eat.... the only way mine was stopped was with a shot.. the ablation was easy for me.. total time in the electro lab was 20 minutes, i was mostly out during the op... good thing i had insurance cause the bills are rolling in... they let me go after 4 hours of laying still and 1 hour of walking around...just glad i didnt have to spend the night... they were able to stimulate mine during the procedure... i could feel it beating like crazy but then it was back to normal... you are sore for acouple of days... where the port was put in... hope this helps tony the toprol i was on made me feel wierd and stoped it... also my cardo said splashing cold water on the neck and face might get it back into rythm... dont know if it works.....

  24. yup, i think it was my canopy. i went back out that night with a ladder and still couldnt find any sight of it... it was a small price to pay for a canopy. i knew if it was not found on sunday, it wouldnt have been found... best money i have ever spent... i was so cut up from the crap we call woods in florida....thanks again tony
