Umm, do you have a need for a nurse on your excursions? First aid, safety, that kind of thing? I'm soooo jealous right now.

Why does Sangiro have to defend hisself here? It's HIS website, end of story. I like this site, I enjoy reading the posts where I can hopefully learn something that might make me a better student, so I have no problem following the rules he set out concerning his site. I have other places where I can act a fool if I want to.

My limit is what my JM's tell me it is. They know way more than I do, and if they say no jump, then no jump it is. My last jump I caught some turbulence and had a real hard landing (amazing how well a PLF can work) so I have a taste of what the wind can do.

I have a 100% chance of being a Mahayana Buddhist, which is ok by me, Hinduism is also a 100% match, but Mahayana Buddhism has Vajrayana(tantric) sects. (tantric sects, tantric sex, woo hoo! I made a funny)

The GAU-8A can switch between 4200 and 2400 rounds per minute, I believe, good choice!

Gimme a pair of Beretta 92F's any day. Good power, almost never stove pipe, oh yeah. Of course if I had the training, gimme a Katana, that's a fearsome weapon.

Damn that grassy knoll shooter to hell! No, I wasn't there, so no, I did not witness what happened, but when his own defense experts start poking holes in his theories, well, methinks something stinks there.

Further, Jamal's own ballistics expert, George Fassnacht, conceded in his 1995 PCRA testimony that the fatal bullet was not .44 caliber, and that it was most "likely" a .38. Although the D.A.'s officer offered in open court to let Jamal's attorneys test the fatal bullet, they refused this offer, and have never offered any alternative test results to counter the above evidence. Dr. James Hoyer's handwritten notation on a piece of scrap paper certainly does not constitute such evidence. As for the so-called "sniff test" (sniffing the barrel of the gun to see if it smells as though it had recently been fired) called for by Jamal's attorneys, Jamal's own ballistics expert testified that this is not an accepted ballistics test. As explained in 1995 by George Fassnacht, Jamal's ballistics expert, the so-called "smell test" has no scientific validity because it is completely subjective. I would go on, every single one of these claims can be dismissed so easily as to be laughable. Check facts, not myths, shipmate.

"his own website" contains things like court transcripts, reports of how much money was spent on his defense, the expert witnesses he hired, all verifiable facts, not hearsay, sure there may be bias, but Mumia is guilty (sorry Rage Against the Machine, you guys are incredible musicians, but dead wrong on this issue). That you'll look into it more to get more facts is a wonderful thing to hear. I think that if more people would do that instead of thinking what HBO or a band tells them to think this issue might have been laid to rest long ago (pun definitely intended). Free Mumia? Yes, free him from this mortal coil he inhabits. (And btw, howdy, shipmate! I spent six years in the Navy as an Electrician's Mate, most of my time was on the USS Hunley AS-31)

Moose Green?!? My beer gland (liver) can't wait!!! As I remember, Moosehead Dry can't be sold in the good ol' US of A because it contains too much alcohol, if that's kid stuff, I can't wait for my first anything in Canada now

Sorry for the language, but that piece of shit murdered a cop execution style. He was tried, convicted, go to www.danielfaulkner.com Mumia is sitting in a cell, selling his books and hosting his radio show, while Danny's wife is now a widow. Fuck Mumia. He should have been sent to the execution chamber long ago. (and for those wondering, I know Officer Faulkner's widowed wife, I met her at a police rally in Washington, DC, so yes, this is something that I feel strongly about) Read some court transcripts, check some facts, Mumia is a cop killing bastard.

I don't know about the UK, but these are the gloves I use for cold weather, they're police gloves, lined, sensitive enough to (sorry) use all their gear~guns and stuff, I think they'd be good for jumping. http://www.hatch-corp.com/lawpages/tk405.html Sorry, I don't know how to put a link in the message.

I wish I had enough experience to even know what you're describing, but anything that will help keep people safe, I'm all for it. Downsize? Why would I want to downsize from my 230 sq.ft. student gear?

OK, so the winter months are here, and I have a question. Barring any trips to more pleasant climates, it will be a long time before I can get in the air again. Are there any good DVD's or (yuk) VHS tapes that would be good for some on the ground learning? I am most interested in landings and canopy control. Any input would be appreciated.

A cooler full of icy cold brews, just in case for the dreaded "first".(or the end of the day, whatever comes first) I always bring my camera as well, getting pics of the experienced jumpers landing, the aircraft, cute girls, etc.
