  1. I was one of the kids at collegiates that was 18years old with 1500 jumps, and i did not use that to my advantage. I was always bringing a 4way team of which i was a member and a coach. I liked coaching the younger jumpers. I competed for 5 years and over those years my team mates changed every year and each member of my teams had less than 100 jumps. My goal was to further the sport and teach the younger skydivers what competition was all about. Blue Skies, Jamie
  2. The CASA will be here at 9am on Friday, the 3rd. The weatherman has forecast beautiful weather and we’ve all geared up for lots of jumps and partying. We have packers coming in so our own staff can jump, jump, jump. We have organizers Jim Smith and Grant Spurell so you can challenge yourself to some fantastic skydives. Norland Pub will be catering wings Saturday nite and I understand that Jamie has arranged for 4 kegs of microbrew from a local brewery. Blue Skies, Jamie
  3. Chambersburg will be having a CASA/ Pelt Head Boogie starting July 3rd and running till July 5th. There will be Organizing available for all levels, food and beer Saturday night. Come have some fun with us at Chambersburg! Blue Skies, Jamie

  9. Chambersburg Skydiving Centers 2nd Annual Pelt HEad, CASA Boogie, and Pig Roast. June 27-29, CSC will be having there 2nd annual boogie for the pelt heads and anyone who would like to come jump the CASA. There Will be Load organizing for all experience levels and a great pig roast Sat. night. The last few year this boogie has been awesome, so come join and have a great time!! Blue Skies, Jamie
  10. March 8th is safety Day at the burg (starts @ 9am), seminars, games, dirt dives, food. if it’s a nice day some jumps (King Air will be flying) and then the seminars later in the day. Pizza is provided by the drop zone. Beer will abundant. Blue Skies, Jamie

  14. With all the open area around the DZ, if someone got hit by the phone if it was dropped it would be a miracle Blue Skies, Jamie

If you pull your slider all the way down to the V in your risers and have some kind of slider keeper on your rig (velcro or rubberband), it will keep the kill lines from the slider out of the way. i have been jumping with a rubberband keeper for my slider on my rig for about 2000 jumps and have never had a problem.   21. Hey Chris, it's Jamie. I noticed this isn't on the roamingDZ web page. Also, i am bring some people up from Virginia Tech's skydiving club.   22. This is a great drop zone no matter your experience level. They fly a king air that is pretty quick to altitude. The staff is very friendly and willing to jump with you at any experience level.
