ATL sucks ... I use to travel to Columbus Ga a lot on business. I learned early to always rent a car and make the drive because EVEY flight out of Columbus to ATL is late and you always miss your connection.

Hey hippie .. not sure if you got your answer but the best bet for an overnight boarding trip is to head up to Flagstaff and hit Snow Bowl. Plenty of rentals in the area or even at the slopes.... If you're staying at Shea and 101, you're about 2 miles from mi casa. Post up where you goobers are heading to cause trouble tonight and I may be able to hook up.

Admitting that you were speeding while trying to keep from falling asleep at the wheel would not be a good idea in my opinion. You might as well mention the Vodka drink you had in your lap. They're both just as dangerous. -

My buddy is a moron. He is convinced the plane would never take off. He is confusing ground speed with airspeed. I tell him over and over again to 'be the plane, not the wheel' but it does not sink in with him

OK guys, I missed the show but have been arguing with a buddy for a long time over that stupid airplane on the conveyor belt question.... Please tell me they proved the friggen plane would take off and said so on the show .. I want to end the madness with him

Eloy is the best place to go if you're 'new' .. I got my A there and they make you feel right at home. Don't be afraid to ask manifest to grab someone to show you around the place. Even though I am not jumping right now, I may come down for a bit of the fun .. I'll try to arrange it around someone's need for a ride from the airport.

Maybe a word of advice... Short leash. I hit a ladies dog on my mountain bike last week because she did not have him under control on the trail. She had him on an extended leash and he darted right in front of me. I gave them at least 10' of clearance. The rule on the trails around here is 4' leashes. Dog was ok, I have a nasty bruise on my shoulder from trying to avoid the dog and crashing.
