Like mentioned before, real estate is in the buyers market mode around phoenix. Since you will be heading to Eloy on the weekends, look for a home in the Chandler , Ahwatukee or Gilbert area. It will save a lot of time when you head south. Arizona is hot in the summer but it's worth it given the rest of the years weather.

The family is taking a cruise (Eastern Carib on the Carnival Glory ) next month for my Fathers 70th B-Day. I've never been interested in a cruise due to the structured environment ( usually bare boat in the islands).. I plan to just chill and go with the flow but am looking for suggestions form experienced cruisers.

Bareboat . I charter with the Moorings. If you have any experience at all, you can get certified with them real easy . Their fleet is all less than 5 yeasr old so the equipment is in good shape. http://www.moorings.com/ -

I chartered a 46' Sailboat out of Tortola for 2 weeks of chillin' in the islands with 5 close friends. I've yet to be able to top that one so we are planning another in the next couple years. -

I took advantage of the 0% financing and bought an '06 F-250 Diesel last august. Nice truck. MPG is not bad: 13-17 around town 18-20 highway (mexico and back = Flat) 14 towing the boat (about 7500#). If you can wait until the end of summer, you'll get a better deal if your going new.
