OK McDuck (check), Ratboy(check), Steve(check),Old Man Greg(check), Worst Student in the world Lesa (check), I guess I better show up not sure how many more days Greg and Ratboy have left in them. Oh let Greg know I will air out his canopy for him too. Steve ask Kev if he want me to bring both video and stills or just video? Have you thanked the rigger that saved your life! My first time jumping there everyone was friendly, the staff took care of us, no questions about jump numbers. Alternate landing area has grass main lanidng area doesn't yet but the alternate is close enough to walk back. Just a great overall place, and only 1 1/2 from Yuma.

The club closing is a sad day. For it gave soldiers and their families deeply discounted rates for them to try skydiving. The club has trained so many people its a shame when the doors do finally shut. What I cant seem to understand is how they havent closed the numerous golf courses on fort bragg for they are losing money also. As a former volunteer instructor to the club it really bothers me they couldnt find another way to make the club work instead of closing it. It was the last standing club with in the DOD. Don, this will not hurt Reaford at all. Reaford trains a lot of military just for the fact that over the last few years MWR didnt want to spend the money for the club to advertise. Just another long list of MWR mis-management. Have you thanked the rigger that saved your life! IAD-I, AFF-I, Coach, MFFI566

I prefer it to be snug but I have seen many chest straps either so tight that the cutaway handle and reserve handles are almost touching, or they are so loose that the harness falls off the shoulders. Have you thanked the rigger that saved your life! IAD-I, AFF-I, Coach, MFFI566

I have a Micron w/ the skyhook I jump a bonehead narrow camera helmet and I unhook my RSL everytime I jump camera, just taking a chance of a snag even with a cutaway system on my helmet, I still prefer to cutaway the main then pull my reserve. I have given many of free coaching jumps and I have done a few AFF jumps also. The FT Bragg Parachute Activity only operates with volunteers. I credit a lot of my teaching abilities to the club. I think that if you need to give something back to the sport and give free instruction is the way to go. Have you thanked the rigger that saved your life! IAD-I, AFF-I, Coach, MFFI566

Should an AFFI lose their rating if they 'drop' a student?
Pararigger replied to Hooknswoop's topic in Instructors
Chuck, I know who you are talking about, you should see his tandem exits. I having been the reserve side instructor with him he will indeed blow the exit and let go. Re-train and re-eval would be his best choice if he cant make it pull his rating. Have you thanked the rigger that saved your life! IAD-I, AFF-I, Coach, MFFI566 -
Why aren't Riggers charging more for hard to pack reserves?
Pararigger replied to peek's topic in Gear and Rigging
I charge the same amount for every rig, unless you bring it to me Sat. morning at 8 am and want to jump by 9 am. I don't have a ton of experience but I always look forward to a new challenge. Plus it helps that I work under a master rigger too. Have you thanked the rigger that saved your life! IAD-I, AFF-I, Coach, MFFI566 -

No words can explain the sorrow I am feeling for Paul and all his family. I was just talking about seeing a couple of weeks ago in the Parachute Activity. His bright shining smile will be sorely missed. Paul keep flying and we know you'll be smiling down on us from heaven. Have you thanked the rigger that saved your life! IAD-I, AFF-I, Coach, MFFI566
