I haven't been on here or "in the scene" for several years, but it really saddens me to have come across this. John was truly a kickass guy to hang with and showed me (a newbie) quite a bit in the short time I got to know him when he hung around Dallas... He was a great guy and after all this time it still pains me to hear of a senseless tragedy. Blues..

I don't think this "goes without saying" - make sure you are there as often as possible for your kid(s).

I agree! ....... once you're finished with AFF.... Being off AFF doesn't suddenly make things different. correct, however.... AFF = Instructors tell you what you can do Solo = you can wear what you'd like make more sense now? -

Hey guys, first post in the photography section... As I'm looking to do video (fun jumps) in the next year, I'm curious to know if this is a decent camera for skydiving. Yes, I'm aware of the required jump numbers and won't start prior to, but need to know if this is something that will work. I already have it as the wife purchased for home video, but if it can be dual use - great! Any opinions? http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-camcorders/canon-fs10/4505-6500_7-32786398.html

Wow, this must've been a non-medicated day.... To the OP: Support your local business if you can...

Yup, the Seattle job market is definitely sketchy... good luck on the job hunt!!
-
If I were in the market, I'd guess you should sell fairly easily in the $3000-3300 range... Just my best guess after scouring for months.... You may go as high as $3600-3700, however you may not sell as quickly as you'd like... I'd vote $3500.

No "gender mingling" in the room??!?! Porn. Lots of porn. He'll need some variety....

either what JohnRich said, or take it to a bank that his account is drawn off of and cash it. They may charge you $5, but IMO, the $5 fee if you don't bank there is a piece of mind that you don't get screwed... and it's much less than what paypal charges... keep in mind this is if he doesn't bank at the local farmer's credit union or something...

I've made many jumps at San Marcos - it's a great place, I assure you.... it wasn't my "home" DZ (Temple was), but I had a great time there and actually made my first jump ever there (tandem) in 1998. There are some great people there.

There are deals.... I just got a mint condition 2 year old Pilot 188 for $750 shipped..... you just need to be perusing the classifieds at the right time....
