I psychopack my sil230, I MUCH prefer psychopacking to propacking. Just make sure you have enough length in the bridle between the canopy and the bag, or get an extension. When I pack my wife's main (sabre 190) I start with a psychopack but then rather than rolling it I flip it back over and z-fold it because the bridle is too short. I still like it because I can open it up and make sure lines are straight, nose is really rolled so it won't smack on opening, etc. I get much more on-heading openings with this packstyle, that's prob just me tho.

Except for the gender specific language, the statement tactfully does not define God. The Boy Scouts are a very ecumenical orgamzation. The brief that the BSA prepared for Randall states that the "Boy Scouts' national Religious Relationships Committee, which approves religious awards and develops non-denominational prayers and benedictions, is perhaps the broadest based ecumenical group in the country." My son is a Webelos Scout, I am one of his Den leaders.

Anyone else see this ad in Sunday's Arizona Republic? That's my wife (Elfanie on here) "jumping" with a fridge.

I didn't say I'd never been there. I said I'd never jumped there. I'm also not attacking Eloy. It's just a different feel FOR ME. They have a lot of stuff there that Coolidge doesn't have - resturant (I've eaten there), store (bought stuff there) etc. I wasn't claiming that Coolidge was better. Just different.

My wife and I jump at Coolidge. In my opinion, it's a more laid back feel - we bring our kids as do others, etc. Less businesslike feel. They did five King Air runs yesterday. I haven't had the chance to jump at Eloy yet - I want to one of these days, but we'll leave the kids with a babysitter.

I jump a sil 230. My exit weight is about 270, so my wingload is about 1.17. It's a great canopy, I really like it. I've been told it has a flatter glide than a sabre2, whether or not that's true I'm not sure - I know a sabre2 is flatter than an sabre. It took me a few jumps at first to figure out the flare on it, but that was because I went from a worn-out Navigator 240 to a brand new sil230, the flare was quite a bit different. :)

Unless I'm really messing up my math, that's only 230 lbs or so. When I did my AFF I was 265. The biggest guy I've seen jump, level 1 AFF at my dropzone, in Coolidge, was 320. I can't imagine your friend would have much problem finding a place to jump.
