But why do they show DRX at the optionslist when you look at their site under compare containers when it's not available???

Skyhook RSL snag on door handle, at pin cover flap
Supergeil replied to pchapman's topic in Gear and Rigging
Yes but with regular RSL you don't get the same risk of a main that is cut away, and the attachment point is higher up away from the pin. -
Skyhook RSL snag on door handle, at pin cover flap
Supergeil replied to pchapman's topic in Gear and Rigging
Why get rid of RSL ? It seems that the Skyhook was the problem but RSL only wouldn't have caused that problem -
I don't know but big I guess

It would be a brick then. We have a MT with a stiletto 135 on our dropzone, and it looks like hard work packing it. But it's possibel to do

Didn't Mirage used to be one of the most expensive rig's on the market? Did a little comparing today and Vector and Javelin was the most expensive before and after choosing options. Not that I would complain about that because I love Mirage, but it seem that they haven't change the start price for a long time...

Sorry my english is not that good so didn't get that right, but it was ment for Apple tv(HDMI) And I also want to burn tandem DVD's in the highest quality I can get, so it still looks good on a HD tv. But I will give Revolver a look.
-
No it was only ment for HD television.

Damn I love my Mac....but not at that point

How do you keep a AVCHD 1920/1080 in full HD trough the editing/burn process? It seems to me I end up with a movie in the half resolution (960/540) every time? I do the editing in iMovie...
-
Maybe a bit of topic... But how do you prevent the lens from zoom in/out doing freefall? I use a rubberband but is there an easier way...
-
21:9 is the same as cinema format. You have to move your head to watch the movie...kind of exercise for the lazy ones
-
Yes there is plenty of room for it, but you have to move the L-bracket a bit up. There is a couple of pictures in an other tread here.
-
It make sense. Really slow but I love my Mac and going to spend more time with it that way
-
2- Do I need a Mac to do the edition? A Mac is the worst choice for AVCHD editing. No, you do not need a Mac. Why is AVCHD bad? It seems to work in FC and iMovie?

Cool just what I was looking for. Which kind of Memorycard are you guys using? From the specifications it have to be pretty fast.... Movie Quality HD ; FH (1920x1080i, 16Mbps) / HQ (9Mbps) / SP (7Mbps) / LP (5Mbps) , SD ; HQ (9Mbps) / SP (6Mbps) / LP (3Mbps)
-
How fast does the card have to be I think read/write speed? It's a jungle out there with all that cards even if you stick to Sony or Sandisk.

Any flash cam's with firewire out there?
Supergeil replied to Supergeil's topic in Photography and Video
I am looking for a new video cam and the HDR CX11 (european) seems nice to me. But i lacks a bit with the no firewire because I like the option to dub from cam to cam. So is there any flash based cam's with firewire? -
Any pictures of yourself while working ???
Supergeil replied to ArnoSchutte's topic in Photography and Video
4way video over Spa in Belgium. -
Thank you Ward that make it clear for me! Looking forward to get my new rig from you guys love my old Mirage a lot and sure I will with the new one I'm getting too. Blues Torben

You are absolutely right you have to export from iMovie to iDVD seems a little odd to me to. Two standard programs that should work together but doesn't.....come on Mac. I like iMovie a lot for doing tandem movies in it's pretty easy and fast for that but the quality sucks. I think i will be heading for the FCS despite it's a pretty heavy program to work with. Sorry but interlace artifacts doesn't say me much maybe my english isn't good enough. But I watch it on a HD TV. Thanks for the link!
-
Then I am digital I use Firewire. I use iMovie, but maybe I should change to FCP. The lowest setting in iMovie is 960 x 540 for PAL
-
Maybe It's the analog format that I got wrong. I import with a firewire but the av/dv was not on in the cam menu.
-
When I import video from my cam (a PC 330) to my Mac it loose a lot of quality. I import it as Big (960 x 540) 16/9. And I burn my DVD in iDVD. Is that normal to loose a quality when importing ?
