  1. Wendy. Hmm. I don't remember you, but you remember a lot of the same people I used to skydive with. I'm currently going though a lot of old photos and memerobelia from my skydiving days. I jumped from 1973-1978 at various places around Houston, including Spaceland and a place in Hitchcock, which I barely remember. It's all so hard to piece together! I would appreciate if if you would e-mail me. I'm trying to identify the people in some old photos. I completely lost interest in skydiving and moved on to other places and things. The photos look like things that happened to somebody else, long ago and far away.
  2. I had a yellow Thunderbow with a red arrow on it. Loved the thing. I traded it for a Paradactyl, which I hated. Triangular, but nothing like my old T-Bow. Long ago and far away -- back when I did things like jump out of perfectly good airplanes.
  3. I made many jumps from Boatman's Twin Otters at Spaceland back in the 70s. I remember his partner, a guy named Jess Hall, saying they were the first and only DZ in the country to use turbo-props at the time. I have no idea what happened to Jess Hall. I know Boatman died from cancer, and that the commuter airline he ran (which is where he got the Twin Otters) went out of business.
