    Coming from a small east coast drop zone I have keep a "resume" of my formation loads, plus one hundred way events, and records. It also included a list of references and there e-mail address (after I got permission to do so) When I was first starting out to do big ways I would send it with my e-mails when I was looking for a slot and still do if I don't know the organizer. I was wondering if anyone else did this also and if so what type of format other people use. Plus you big time organizers, do you look at these things anyway.

    There's a post on the Big way data base that says the dates are 1-19-06 to 2-5-06 with a link www.worldteam.com but I couldn't open it. maybe they are trying to tell me something.....

    But sweet Mary, I live in South Georgia, we still use black and white TV's, Thermal fax machines. and marry our cousin's............ but since it come's from such a good source, I'll believe you. btw are you going to Cross Keys, hope to see you there. fr

    Mexico Well we were told NOT to take our rental car into Mexico, but being typical male drivers we miss the exit for the park and ride and besides "...it's only 12 miles" One wrong turn and (no kidding) 12 cops later, the over all expense of the trip had gone up $135.00 but hey we still "won" he could have gotten a lot more by just asking. As we pulled away it was interesting to watch the "boss hog" cop give the orginal cop who stop us $20.00 out of the $135, guess there is a pecking order in shaking down greengos (sp) Later on that night we found out that the typical amount paid for our driving sin was $35, so I guess they felt good. Btw we drove very slowly back to the boarder, parked the car and took a cab back. (for of all things $35) Had a great time for the next two days and spent less than $100 on hotel, food and beer.

    Well I was to scared to figure these jumps (Perris 100 ways) I stayed in Ca. for the camp and the 100 ways went to Mexico, go arrested..... If you stop and think about it, most people a fairly understanding when someone has a bad jump. Again, for the record I don't care.....once I knock out the silly stuff like eating and saving for my childrens education I had plenty of money to do the big ways

    In the past I was taught to go along and get along. If someone goofed up a big way (other than myself) no big deal. Never again........I have made a BIG BIG mistake. Just figured up the cost for a big way event. Understand I have to fly to the event, rent a car, get a room..... $83.20 a jump. well that does include pack jobs............. what's that about $1.38 per second? It doesn't matter that much to me, I'm old and have nothing better to spend my money on..........but if my WIFE ever finds out Long live big ways!

    Hey all, A good friend of mine just got her invite (YAHOO!) and while we were talking about it a question came up. What have been the last three record, and what did they start at? I believe that this year is (around) 156....have they in the past made the new record at the attempted amount? i.e. we are trying for 156 but if we don't get it we can cut people down to 131 (I thought last years was 130) In any event there's another lady I have to make a donation to Goof luck all!

    The above really got me thinking. I bet it really would be a weird situation. (OTOH I have no idea where you are from.) So I mention this in the same token that your comment was taken. Do you have any idea what it's like to listen to people put down your country, when some, NOT ALL make comments that are just wrong? Of course you do, sounds like it's happen to you. Your comment really gave me something to think about, perhaps if you changed the wording a little you could see where some other people are coming from. But hey I know better than to reply to these things, I'd really rather be skydiving

    Yeah don't ban me, but I think Bill lost this one. There is some sort of disconnect that our society (western world) and the Muslim world that I don't understand. If the Baptist started blowing the Methodist up the Baptist would become very unpopular, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Deep stuff...........I'd rather just skydive. BTW-I saw Bill smile (once) at Kates 100 ways....he tried to hide it but several people saw it.
