Yeah, I got a simple solution for you. Tell them to go buy jockstraps that hold a catcher's cup. Guys that have played baseball will know what I'm talking about. It's a hard plastic cup designed to protect a catcher from getting hit in the nuts by a baseball. Tell them to wear the jockstrap and cup backwards. That should ease their minds! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule

According to your profile, your in Michigan, so I'm afraid I can't help you, if you were in Georgia, I could tell you a great DZ to go to. "Another thing you can do nowadays is to ignore stability altogether. You could put three control surfaces on a piece of plywood, sit on it, and create a stable glider by letting a computer adjust the flight surfaces. (although you still need a rudder.) You can optimize for efficiency or looks without much regard for stability and do it all in the computer." Correct! If fact, that is the only reason the F-16 is capable of flyiing, computers doing exactly what you said. It is so unstable, that without computers it would tumble and fall out of the air! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule

"Um, seems the only people who were too dumb to figure out how to vote in Florida in 2000 were those dumb enough to try to vote Democrat. I had the sample ballot sent to me in the mail (I still have it). I voted in the election. I left the ballot box with NO DOUBT that I had actually voted for the person I wanted to vote for. There was no legitimate reason for confusion. The claim that the ballot was confusing came ONLY after the whiners' candidate was not elected. Funny, the same whiners had had ample opportunity to see that same exact ballot before the election, and at that time, all the way leading up to the election, no one stood up and said, "Hey, this is too confusing, let's get it reworked before the election." You know, for all the bitching about Florida blowing the election for Gore, why don't we hear about how if he had only been popular enough in his own fuckin' HOME STATE to carry their electoral votes, Florida wouldn't have mattered?!" ------------------------------------------------------------ BINGO! We have a winner! The problem was not the people voting, it was the damned democrook losers, i.e. Gore and his little ass-kissing suck-up Daley, from Chicago, trying to steal the election that caused all the fuck-ups if Florida! Peacefulljeffrey's final statement: "You know, for all the bitching about Florida blowing the election for Gore, why don't we hear about how if he had only been popular enough in his own fuckin' HOME STATE to carry their electoral votes, Florida wouldn't have mattered?!" sums the entire situation up, for Florida, as well as the rest of the nation! Better proof of this can be seen in the Iowa Democrook Caucus, Dean (who certainly didn't help himself with his idiotic screaming/rabid dog impersonation on national T.V.) was ahead by a fairly wide margin, the personality of a board, dull, boring idiot , Gore endorsed Dean and immediatly, Dean plumeted out of contention for the nomination! That is pretty telling! Loser politicans caused the Flordia voting fuck-up, and they will do everything to cause another one in the next election, if they lose, or feel that it will benefit them and their cause/agenda in any way! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule

My question is this, if it is jet POWERED, how can it be a glider? A glider/sailplane is an UNPOWERED craft. There are many powered glider/sailplanes, often refered to as motorgliders, but the very fact that they are powered, i.e. have an engine, be it jet or piston powered, prevents it from being a glider/sailplane! Jet powered glider, I'm afraid, is somewhat of an oximoron! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule

Putting a check down while customer is still eating
Lee03 replied to Chiquita's topic in The Bonfire
I really don't give a damn either way! drop it when the meal is delivered, during the middle of the meal, or at the end as I am finishing, big deal. Don't mean nothing to me. I'm going to sit there and eat at my own leasure, and leave when I want to regardless of when the check is placed on the table. If I am purposly ignored by a waiter/watress for 20 minutes, as was the case with the Irish Pub, that individual will get no tip. Additionally, I will be speaking to the manager of the establishment, asking him/her if it is their policy for their waiters/watresses to purposly ignore customers? There is no call for a situation like that to occur! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule -

"Go ahead. Take the test chicken. I'm from Alabama and figured I'd be 90% or better but only ended up with 83%. Ain't ya even curious??" Chicken? Don't think not taking a test makes one chicken. Just don't feel the need to take a test to find out what I already know that I am. Am I curious? No, why should I be? I already know the answer, so taking the test would be pointless, and a waste of time for me! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule

Don't know and don't care! Fuckin Bastard should have been shot, or hung. Since he's still alive, I hope he's rotting in a stinking, filthy cell somewhere! We ought to get every bit of info from him that can be extracted, then kill him and bury his worthless carcuss with swine parts and blood! Unfortunately, he will probably be turned over to the worthless damned u.n. who will promtly release him, blame the us and demand that the United States pay him for the inconvience that they figure we have caused him! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule

"Why unfortunately bro?" Because I don't have a job to work. I'm looking, hoping for the best. Have an interview on the 28th, hopefully it will provide employment.
