Dam dude sounds like you have some issues, do not make other peoples problems yours. Friends don't lend friends money...Get a better job or work two of them. SHit we all have problems do you want to hear me wine about mine? Don't think so. Do you think the bank should change their policy for you? Are you unique or different then all the other banks customers, don't make assumptions you sound like a child who did not get a sucker at the store.

I like Wendys comments, I would get another 100 jumps under your current canopy, better safe then sorry. No need at this time to go to a smaller canopy..

Sort of. Where I live, it actually increased them for a brief period. I live near the border of Wisconsin and Illinois. During the 70s there was a period of time when Illinois had raised the drinking age to 21, but Wisconsin was still at 18. Kids would drive to Wisconsin to get drunk, then trek back home. Instead of going a couple miles to the neighborhood bar they would drive 10-15 miles to cross the border. Same drinking, but more miles on the road, equals more accidents. *** Did that for years, Lived in CrystalLake and would go to Lake Geneva from the age of 14, city slickers, the clowns lounge, hogs and kisses, etc.. Some nights we should not of been on the road going home. The age should be 18...

You can bring a tent and sleep on site, they have a ton of land, showers, everything you need is on the DZ.

Hello Beth, Welcome to this great sport. Reading your storey it brought me back to my first skydive and the feeling around it. It sounds to me like you will be getting a divorce and become a fulltime skydiver in the next year or so, it happens so get ready. I am only joking. You can always find a way to start skydiving and getting through the AFP course. I know a lot of people in your same position, some it took a few years to get the first 20 jumps under their belt. Where are you at in Illinois? Check out Skydive Chicago in Ottawa. They are by far the nicest skydiving facility in the Midwest, let alone the country, Can you tell I love Skydive Chicago.
