My first demo jump. Roger Nelson and a few others(need to protect the innocent). Roger grabs me and says grab a rig and lets go. Ok lets do it. I get in the otter, Roger looks at me and says you are ready for this???I go ready for what. He tells me to look out the plane, ya see the highway, yep well don't come in short, ya see the church, yes ,well don't hit it, you need to stick your landing between the church and the telephone poles. I am like what are we doing? He tell me, Tim this is your first demo jump. I was like hell yes. We did an 8 way out the door, I lost my slot, floated, dumped my chute and followed Roger in, I hit the landing right on the mark, Got a big High 5 and a hells yes you did it. The jump was for a local church function, kids were all over the place. That by far was my best experience yet. Miss ya Roger...

That really freaked out my parents too. He was busted like a year after he did this party my parents took us too. Ya never know about people i guess.

We do not even go to church. I have tried to explain, to my kids, what a god or higher power is, but it is up to them to make the decision to believe or not. They can go to church if they want too but I will not be going with them. They have the choice but until they are older (they are 3, 4, 5, and 10 ) I will try to explain it the best I can.....

Well I agree with you to a point. The kids I am referring too, that have died, were all spoiled brats. The parents give them credit cards at 14, they drive a new BMW by 16 and OD by 18. The parents let the kids run the family. I run a cub scout pack with 180 kids under 11 in it. I see the spoiled ones, the ones who tell their parents to "Shut up" at age 8. What do the parents do? Not a dam thing. That is one reason I am leaving cub scouts. I can not deal with the parents who drop off the kids every week and month and let them run around like animals with no respect for anyone. I am not saying to spank the kids but some discipline is needed. I am not the one to do it for other parents. I guess if parents spent more quality time with their kids they might have a better understanding of what the kids are up to. I don't have all the answers , hell none of us do. I try my best every day to raise my kids with respect for others, believe in some type of higher power and to always try to be the best they can be, even if they fail they tried.

Even if you beat your kids (which is not needed) they still will have the same likelyhood of using as those who do not...You'll just have taught them that being abusive/a bully is acceptable. *** Where did I say I beat my kids?
