Cheers!! I've done a lot of searches on the interent but never found this one. Which search engine did you use? Most searches for cats in London just bring up sites for the CATS west end show.

Would go to a resucue centre but the only one I know of is Battersea Dogs Home (yes they do have cats too!) and it isn't that simple. They want to come round to the house to ensure it is a safe environment for the cat and to meet all of the occupants of the house. Then we all have to meet the cat. If we like the cat and the cat likes us then they will consider letting us take it home - and you have to pay £40.00

B will be at home to look after it - or if she starts jumping later this year (she wants to do AFF in May) then we'll get a car and probably just do day return trips to dz - or put it in cattery for a night - or get a friend to pop round and feed it - eh Caz!!?!!

I know, I know! I had a cat for 7 years before and they can be a pain in the butt at times (especially when you have the hangover from hell). This has been thought through carefully and we will be getting one anyway if I don't get one in time for valentines day.

It will be a valentines kitten if I can get one in time - thanks for the info.

Does anyone know where I can get a kitten or young cat in London (UK)?
-
4 guys, no-one on camera at the moment.

Why would you persist with a name like that? What gave you that idea in the first place? Ten years of trying and still no luck...... I wonder why??!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, keep em coming AggieDave.

Anyone got any suggestions for a new 4way team name (located in the UK)?

I got it right so don't upset me, okay?!

I never do firsts....... I got 323.5 earlier!!! Woo Hoo!!!

I have yellow tinted goggles and have had no problems with them at all (only done about 25 jumps with them though). They do make things seem a bit brighter on a dull day and you can still see the eyes.

how do you orbit in close proximity to someone/a group?

I've only got 62 jumps to my name so do not consider myself an authority on skydiving. What I do have however is plenty of experience in other sports. What makes a good sportsman is when they stop thinking about what they are doing and start FEELING. The best punches thrown in a boxing ring for instance are delivered without thought. I don't think there is a short cut, you have to practice, practice, practice until the movements become fluid, so keep jumping and don't beat yourself up because you can't get it right immediately - you WILL get there eventually. Be patient, think of it like you would a sculpture. The block you are sculpting from doesn't look like the end product but keep chipping away and eventually it starts to take on the shape you want - (blimey, don't know where that came from!!) -
Welcome aboard!! Believe me it is very normal. You will soon give up all other interests that you have in life and spend every last penny/dollar (or whatever) that you possess on skydiving. You will be sat at work browsing the internet for skydiving related sites, looking up at the sky at every oportunity and boring all of your non-skydiving friends to death with your exploits. When you hit a bad patch in training (as most people do) just remember why you took the sport up in the first place, because it's the coolest sport around!! Remember that you may never get rid of the butterflies but you can teach them to fly in formation (cheers Vikos!!)
