  3. try 47streetphoto.com they have some good deals on there. I know they have em for a lot cheaper than here in canada. If you want lenses as well, they are very cheap! i have bought stuff from them before with no complaints
  4. I really just want to make my own... when you order you have to pay shipping and to get it to canada is brutally expensive sometimes. i can buy some alluminum for 5 bucks i am just looking to get the right dimensions for a pc105... like where to drill the holes... i have measured it myself... i just wanted to compare it to someones who has a similar setup to make sure i got it right... thanks for the replies though
  5. I guess its more of a money thing rather than a custom thing. If i order one, by the time it is shipped to canada and i pay duty and all that i am looking at 80 bucks US! i called a metal shop here and they said they could make one for about 20 bucks US... so i am taking the cheaper way
  6. I am making my own "L" mount for my pc105 on to my mindwarp. just wondering if anyone has a diagram of measuremnts i can take to the metal people. 9. I have a standard Bonehead mindwarp and i want to mount a pc105 to it. All the accessories like the mounting bracked, chin strap and all that are quite pricey. Can anyone suggest a cheap, but safe way of mounting it... and no duck tape isnt always the answer!

  12. i recently bought a new pc105 and now i am in the market for a wide angle lens. I have been shopping around, but there are so many different options. i was wondering if anyone could point me to a source of info, or fill me in on some of the differences. my main questions are... whats a good ratio..ie. .5x, .43x, 6x... also, are the cheaper lenses that much worse than the high end? and finally, recommendations as to what to use for the purpose of filming freefly. cheers!
  13. Just wondering if anyone coule tell me a little more about the Kenko lens and if .5x is wide enough or too wide... I found the lens on ebay and it is very reasonable. I just bought a camera and dont know a whole lot yet. Anyway info would be appreciated.. Mike
  14. As much as i would love a new camera to fall from the sky rather than paying for it, i wouldnt want it to land on my head and kill me. you never know... i think ther eis a reson why you shouldnt take loose, heavy, items skydiving.
  15. Has anyone purchased a camera from the ebay stores? The prices are much less than retail and include heaps of extras... sounds too good to be true!! If anyone has purchased one... (i am looking into the PC105), how was the service, timeliness, quality/usefulness of the extras?. also... what about warrantees? are they legit?
