They would have attacked even if Ralph Nader had won the election. (edit-I would not have wanted him in charge of the response, he said to O'Reilly he would have gone after OBL with small teams of commandos/etc. - basically admitting that the Taliban would still control Afghanistan). I think it very important to acknowledge this. I really don't want to get into any of this but do find all the useless bickering quite humorous. This is a pretty good forum for that. I do want to make one point though. Ralph Nader is not the answer and never was a resolution. The reason the TB was ousted from Afghanistan was due to the small teams. Something that they will only receive credit for through history channel documentaries many years from now. -
Sometimes I am the same way. Every jump I make I learn more and become more aware of whats going on around me. I know you pretty well and that means I know that you aren't too different than most people. At risk of stealing the motto of one of the greatest, Just pay attention to detail and never stop learning. I will email you one of your goals.

Thanks for the encouraging healing terms, Faber. I have been hovering the forum here for a little and only have the one post that I could actually have input for. I have a previous off heading that I was until now blaming on bad body position, but now realize it might have something to do with a slider induced off heading. I need alot more experience to accurately diagnose this claim so until my back can sustain a BASE openning everyone will have to wait for that assessment. Or you could just go and have fun(preferred). later.....MATT

Well, in my opinion sliders have their place in BASE jumping but as we all know, and some of us have experienced, they can sometimes cause malfunctions and quirky opennings(I am still recovering). I would much rather a slider down on an object that I have the chance of running back into on a 3-6 second delay than a slider up of the same, or a little more of a, delay. Well that's my momma. I like the way this guy plays. The bigger the canopy the slower the object strike. don't "jump" into BASE. LATER......MATT
