Thanks for the replies. Yes, I look forward to learning something new every day. I just wish I had the chance to go all the time. In Japan, skydiving is much more expensive. I believe it's around 245,000 Yen for the AFF course lvl 1-7. (Around $2450 depending on yen to dollar). Then another 8,000 yen for insurance. But this will get me to completing the AFF course. I believe after this, and after 25 jumps, I can then start working on my A license. They have it through USPA so I'm sure my jumps will count back in the states. I'd sure hope so after spending all this money. They said something about getting permission from the Japanese gov't about all of their jumpers. (Is anyone here from Japan that knows why this is?) I'm hoping they won't stop military personnel from jumping. I just may have to take a vacation back to the states to get certified!
I haven't inquired about how much my A license will cost through them, but I'm to the point where as someone said above, skydiving outweighs any money, if it's what you love. It is a life, not a sport. Is it silly I feel this way ofter two jumps? It's in my blood!
Well, i've rambled on enough. The longer I am here, the more you will know that Charu loves to run her mouth. I've come out of my shell after skydiving. It's opened me up. I don't think i've been happier in my life. Charu=total addict!!
