Hey everyone...I was not able to post this in the scam alert section but here is ANOTHER heads up. My rig is for sale on the classifieds and I got an email from "matt_1959@yahoo.com". Wanted to send me twice the amount of money for the rig and do the wire tranfer through a third party....and offered to pay me an extra $100.00 to remove it from the internet...OBVIOUS SCAM. Why are these idiots who can't even use proper english doing this crap!! I can't believe how many scam attempts are on dropzone.com classifieds...be careful. I hear ya about the your friend feelin' the pain at 10k!! I feel bad for tandem jumps in such cold weather...they miss out on the comfort of a warm summer jump. Best wishes on the studies. 15 DEGREES ??!!! At 15 degrees I think I'll drive SOUTH for a less PAINFUL jump. I now have about 700 jumps and I have not been in freefall below 30 degrees since around jump 50. Call my a cold weather wimp...but I love the sunshine!! So, what are you studying in school and what do you enjoy outside of the new skydiving world ??

Everyone is giving me great feedback !!! Although the excitement of the unknown is attractive...it might just be way too costly!! It may look fun in the movies (not that I'VE seen those...haha) but real life steps in and the "climax"..shall we say..is over. Maybe if you're just single and don't have the exclusive relationship...go Gadget go !!!...but real LOVE could get screwed...and not in a good way !! Could just be a matter of...whatever floats your own canopy.

I would by NO MEANS call myself or my other half swingers. It's just a thought for the "been there done that". I totally agree that the end result could be emotionally BAD!! I mean no offense and you are so right about most people who have done it... (or would) would not let the world know...especially SKYDIVERS.

I'm an all out RW bellyboy with too many skyventure wind tunnel hours to count....and I love it !!! Freeflying is awesome.....but this boy can't fly on his head for nothin' !!! Just give me lots of points on my belly and high speed 4-way !!!! I must admit...some of the most down to earth skydivers I've met are freeflyers. (nothing against my RW family) I look forward to ZHills.

I've been wanting to make the trip to Skydive Arizona for a long time. It seems as though my bank account never allows me to fly that far west. I'm on the East Coast. I will get there someday !!

Can you tell me how Z-Hills compares to DeLand ? DeLand is the only DZ in Florida where I've jumped..How about Sebastian??

Where is the best DZ for the winter months in FLORIDA/GEORGIA ?? My wife and I are jumpers and we are looking for the DZ with the coolest group of people. We need a vibe that makes us feel welcome and is low on SkyGod attitude. Good planes and indoor packing help ?? Boy...are we comfort wimps or what??? Speak to me my fellow cloudhoppers.....

Does anyone know Lanka ? She was/is a skydiver/ packer at Atlanta Skydiving Center this summer. Is she still there or has she relocated to Florida for the winter ? forgot to get her contact info before I left. Thanks, Scotman
